We checked into the Green Fountain Inn on a Friday night for a two night's stay and a tasting menu dinner for 2 that evening. Reserving our stay and dinner was an easy process. Great vegan dinner and breakfasts with Sal, and great doesn't really begin to describe it. As a host Sal is fantastic and his ability and passion for creating good meals is unmatched. My wife and I appreciate the care taken by Sal and staff to make sure our time there was comfortable. We look forward to coming again soon! Thank you.

This was a fantastic experience. Chef Sol made the best breakfasts daily. Rooms are decorated beautifully. I would stay here again anytime. The location on Main Street is accessible to everything. The fact they have WiFi is a plus. Allowed me to easily upload pictures to my family.

We had the most amazing dinner at the Green Fountain Inn. Chef Sal prepared a unique and delicious 5 course dinner, which he plated, presented and explained beautifully. Best meal we’ve had all year!

What a relaxing place to have a quiet lunch with a friend. If you appreciate Victorian architecture and nostalgia from a different era - you’re going to love it here. The menu is limited but each choice is special and elegant done top notch. This is a Bed and Breakfast that is also opened to the public for dining. My visit was just for the lunch service (hours are limited as well - but very reasonable as well as the price). I had a very elegant grilled cheese and tomato soup - would recommend this selection. We sat by a window overlooking the sitting area in the garden. Parking is limited in the attached area (as to be expected as this was a home at one time). Within walking distance to our downtown and is located in our Historical District. Definitely worth the visit.

Staying at the Green Fountain Inn was like stepping back in time to a more gracious era, when a concierge would greet you and show you to your room, telling you all you needed to know to spend your stay comfortably. And then there was the delicious menu at dinner, expertly prepared and perfectly served. The neighborhood is great for an after dinner walk. We would stay there again whenever we are visiting Waupaca, or just drop in for a delicious meal.

Such a wonderful experience! Fine dining in a relaxed, yet charming atmosphere with the chef Sal and his assistant taking great care of us. He explained the dishes, their sourcing, and the preparation. It really made the experience feel special. The food was delicious and high quality.

What a incredible dining experience so close to home. Sal did a VERY awesome job making a 4 course meal that was out of this world. You can easily see the passion that was put into making our meal, and he tells you everything about each plate. High quality locally sourced ingredients. You don't need to get all dressed up, as we felt very comfortable in casual attire.
There may not be a huge menu selection but to us that didn't matter one bit, you can view the daily menu online. This is simply a experience you must have, and felt the price was totally inline with the quality and service.

We had an incredible dining experience here last night. They had a 4 course dinner with options at each course. Sal (don't call me Chef) was great about describing each dish and recommended a very nice wine. A very very reasonably priced fine dinning experience.
