Greek Chicken - Lakeside, California

I recently dined at Greek Chicken in Lakeside, CA, and my experience was pretty average. The atmosphere of the restaurant was okay. The service was just okay.

As for the food,I ordered the Two Skewer Dinner plate. The chicken was seasoned and cooked well. The side dishes, like the rice and vegetables, were standard and didn't add much excitement to the meal.

Pricing was reasonable, which is a plus, but overall, I walked away feeling that there are better options out there for Greek cuisine. I might give it another try in the future, but it’s not at the top of my list.

This was out first time here. We don’t live close and drove a ways to check it out. I liked the chicken pita. They forgot the salad for the gyro plate. For a plate that’s nearly $17, the missing salad made the meal quite bland. The workers were super nice. Overall, the chicken pita good but the missing salad was a bummer on my husband’s meal.

We might try this place again, but won’t drive out of our way to do so.

This location is subpar to say the least and highly lacking quality control in comparison to either El Cajon location. Nothing like paying $60+ for 2 gyro plates only to get half the portion of the other locations with both burnt and cold not as cooked as normal pieces of meat, gyro sauce that had hardly any onion or cucumber in it and was more of a stiff off brand sour cream texture then the creaminess so most certainly it was not fresh and if you needed confirmation just attempt to dip your pita bread in it and the juice that's collected at the top will gladly spill all over 🤦‍♀️ I will give credit where it is due though and the chocolate banana shake was amazing! No matter how great it was though we will not be back to this location and highly recommend you all make the 5 to 10 minute drive to either of the other locations too!

My gyros sandwich was drier than a popcorn fart! The tomatoes weren't chopped or sliced, they were chucked! 4 small pieces of red onion. On top of that, the kind girl on the drive through said "have a great Sunday". It was Saturday!!
The unsweetened iced tea was great though. Think I'll stick to the El Cajon restaurant.

Terrible location. Placed my order asked for certain things to be removed due to allergies they made it however they wanted. Tried to call can’t get through a waste of 15.00. Never again

One of the best gyro sandwiches in town hands down... when you add french fries it is an absolutely filling meal

I was extremely impressed. I don't eat meat so ordered a Greek Salad without meat. I ordered a small and came with Pita or Garlic Bread. The salad was delicious!! The customer service at the counter was great. I actually cannot wait to go back.

Always consistently fresh and flavorful! I have never eaten at an establishment that was this consistent. And friendly employees that take care of us each and every time. The best!
