We visited Wolf Lodge last week and had one of the best times there. Every day, there were free events in the lobby, which were especially exciting for the kids. I canât praise the water park enoughâit felt like being at the beach in the summer, even though it was March! The arcade section was fun, although some of the machines were out of service until the last day of our stay. The bowling alley occasionally stopped mid-game, which was a bit frustrating.
The Antler Shanty restaurant was excellent in terms of variety, catering to different tastes for both breakfast and dinner. However, none of the other three restaurants that served lunch offered the same quality or variety. We loved the gift shops, even though the prices were a bit high.
Our room was clean, but on the last day, I noticed that the last towel I picked up had not been washed. The customer service and concierge were outstanding. Willow responded to our messages very quickly. Thank you so much, Willowâyouâre the best concierge!
I highly recommend visiting this lodge, especially because itâs located in a peaceful area. After a long time, we finally got a break from the constant sound of fire truck and police sirens!

JUST GO! honestly i was a little scared to go after reading all the reviews but we decided to try it out anyway and weâre so glad we did! We stayed 2 nights, 3 days in a âupgradedâ wolf den suite and although it wasnât ânewâ per say it was still very large and clean. We checked in shortly after 4pm and there was no line, they had about 4 people in the front desk area helping with check ins. We did add on the dining credits through the app before we arrived and pre paid parking which was really helpful. The water park itself isnât huge but you can definitely spend hours in there having fun. My husband and I were able to join and get on all the slides along with our 8 year old. There was enough seating throughout the water park all day and ordering food from the mobile app was super convenient. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel overall was clean and so were the bathrooms in and outside the water park. We already booked a second trip to celebrate my kids birthday!

Water park was really fun. Everything looked clean, water was too. Great slides for older kids and a toddler area with slides. Staff was very friendly, life guards were very patient with the kids. Room was nice. TV with decent channel selection. Dunkin donuts coffee and food inside, huge plus! Just order on the order pads to your room or card. Get a text once it's ready. Breakfast buffet was good, dinner was too. The magic quest was really fun for the kids. The bathrooms were amazingly clean! Will go back.

It was really nice, my son had so much fun. I would definitely come back. They offer towel services for free. The lifeguards are super on top of everything, making sure everyone is safe. If you have a little one that wears swim diapers, make sure you have some short that covers the diaper. We had to buy one and it was $32.

We really enjoyed our stay. My kids were exhausted and a little cranky when we arrived but the energy of the staff quickly helped them snap out of it. They were so kind, friendly and helpful.
We LOVED the water park. We especially appreciated the water slide as you could go on with a group of 4 or 5.
Everyone had a great time. It was so great to go back to the cute themed rooms (we had a 2 room suite) and relax.
Great stay!

Thought it would be fun to take the kids on a quick trip for 2 days in the water park with a 1 night stay in the lodge. Here is what we experienced. The room was what was expected but is definitely showing wear. The water park was fun but also showed a good amount of wear. The arcade was way overpriced, and all the games used partial points, so you could never use all the points that you bought. We ate at the nicer restaurant (lodge wood fired grill) instead of the buffet, but that turned out to be a bad choice. The spicy chicken sandwich that I ordered was tasty, but when I got halfway through it, I realized that it was raw inside. Sadly, that was the best thing I ate all trip. If I come back, I will be bringing my own food.

I really enjoyed the waterpark and the activities for the kids, but unfortunately, my experience was soured by poor treatment. My family and I booked two rooms for a trip, and we werenât aware of the quiet policy after 10 PM. We arrived late around 9, and after settling in, we started a slumber party for my 8-year-old daughter. The kids were just being a little loud, talking about which bath bombs or skin care products to useânot a full-blown circusâbut security came to tell us that if we didnât quiet down, we would be asked to leave. I was shocked, as we hadnât even been there for 30 minutes, and the amount of money we spent didnât seem to warrant such treatment.
By 11 PM, I made sure all the kids were in bed, and they were all asleep by then. However, the security guard continued to linger outside my daughterâs room until 11:30. Meanwhile, the older kids were bringing things from the car, and one of the security guards followed them back and forth, which felt unnecessary. If they were going to watch, I would have appreciated a bit of help instead of just monitoring them.
This wasnât the kind of treatment I expected, and after speaking to other families, it seemed they had similar experiences. I was very disappointed, and unfortunately, this will be my last time visiting.

Great Wolf Lodge Anaheim: A Fun and Reasonably Priced Family Getaway
Our visit to Great Wolf Lodge Anaheim was a breath of fresh airâa fantastic place for children and a surprisingly good value at $40 per person. The indoor water park kept the kids entertained for hours, with plenty of slides, splash zones, and activities to make for a full day of fun.
The food, while a tad expensive, was par for the course for a family outing.
Overall, Great Wolf Lodge Anaheim delivered exactly what we hoped forâa fun, relaxing, and family-friendly adventure that didnât break the bank. Weâll definitely be returning for another splash-filled day of memories!
