The location and attentive service are amazing. Can’t say enough good things. Overall great resort with phenomenal ocean views, access to walking paths, easy access to downtown Carlsbad and I-5, and plenty restaurants and other activities in the area. There are several grocery stores, even a Costco, within minutes of the resort. Sunsets are amazing. As for the resort itself, the rooms are spacious and clean. A couple of things were a bit annoying, but tolerable. We were on the bottom floor and could hear every stomping footstep of the kids running around on the floors above, throughout the night, every night. This is more on inconsiderate parents allowing their children to just run wild than the resort. Just try not to stay on the ground floor if possible. The elevator in our building was down for maintenance, which made things a little bit challenging but manageable getting to and from the underground parking with a stroller. Also, there’s no in-room laundry, only shared. The laundry facilities were constantly very busy. Also, there are fewer dryers than washers. If a resort is going to have shared laundry facilities, it should offer twice as many machines as this resort. Overall, I highly recommend this resort.

My family loved this resort. Everything was great and we were lucky enough that they even gave us an early check in (8 hours early) when our flight got in. The location was excellent and we didn’t even go to Lego land. It’s really easy to get to and leave from and the rooms were huge. Parking was also underground and we never had any trouble finding a spot close to our room. We’ll definitely be going back.

Very spacious one-bedroom condo. Full kitchen with appliances. Great shower with no wait for hot water. A bit noisy with guests upstairs and outside. Clean, comfortable. Parking was underground and free. Nice view of the ocean. Fireplace with gas log makes it cozy.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Here's why:

Check-in: The staff were so kind during the process. It was a little different than other hotels because there are two hotels in the same lobby; the other is a Hilton. They provided a gift of 500 Hilton honors points for guests. I was shocked they didn't try to ask if we wanted to hear about a timeshare sales pitch, which I appreciated.

The room: We had a two bedroom apartment style room and it noticeably huge. We appreciated the mini kitchen, two bathrooms, and the living room. Totally good value for the cost.

The pool: We didn't get a chance to play in the splash pad, but we did swim in the heated pool and had a great time. We'll be back for the splash pad another day when it's warmer.

The hotel: It was super easy to walk around. The stairs between the floors and the garage were convenient if the one elevator is in use.

Check-out: Quick and easy!

Here’s the cleaned-up and professional version of your review:||The Highlights:|This resort offers a clean, inviting atmosphere and an unbeatable location—perfect for Legoland, the tulip fields (just steps away), and convenient shopping like outlets and Costco. The multiple pools, including an adults-only pool and jacuzzi, were a standout feature. Rooms were massive, modern, and tastefully decorated, with incredibly comfortable beds and bedding. The activity center provided entertainment all day, and late-night options like the jacuzzi and billiards were a bonus. Other amenities, like the clean sauna, well-equipped gym, and ample towels, added to the appeal. The underground parking garage was convenient and well-maintained. Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and the onsite restaurant served good food—when open. The ocean views were stunning, enhancing the overall experience.||Room for Improvement:|Unfortunately, there’s no shuttle service, even to/from the airport or to their sister property’s spa services, which required paying for an Uber. This lack of transportation options, not even a golf cart, was disappointing. Compared to nearby MarBrisa, the activities here felt lacking—no drinking games or similar fun events. Also, be cautious of the concierge team; they’re more focused on marketing HGV ownership than genuinely assisting with activities. That said, Ben was a helpful exception. Finally, the restaurant hours were inconsistent, limiting dining convenience.||This resort has excellent potential, but improvements in shuttle services, activities, and concierge transparency would make it exceptional.

A wonderful place to stay. The room was very clean. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the beautifully landscaped grounds. After sunset, they turn on fire pits that were very relaxing to sit beside. The hotel is across the street from Legoland, right next to the flower fields, and very close to the beaches. Loved our stay here.

This is a great resort located next to Lego Land. It is a wonderful place for families with young children. The staff in the lobby is very friendly. Housekeeping staff can pay better attention to what the unit needs like more towels, toilet paper, paper towels and bed sheets. The units have adequate space and are updated. Overall a great place to stay for a family vacation.

We stayed at the Grand Pacific recently. It was a really nice resort with plenty to do for the kids. The only downside is check in and out times. Check in is at 5 and Check out is at 10. However, staff did call us at 3:30 to tell us the room was ready and that we could check in. They also called a few days before to check in on us and see what time we were planning to arrive which was a really nice touch. Rooms were spacious. We had a three bedroom. Also, you text what you need to staff. That was helpful. Housekeeping is only on Tuesday and Thursday. We stayed the weekend so I just text for towels and trash removal. Overall a nice stay.
