We will start with rooms. Little outdated, my bathroom needs work, and the faucet barely turns off. After checking in, there was some trash left behind in the room from the last guests. The water park was good. 2 great hot tubs, a big play area for the kids, a couple of water slides. The breakfast bar was great huge spread. They do offer a military discount. My view was beautiful

I was expecting a big disappointment with the reviews written but we had a great time. My kids 8 & 2 had a blast, ample activities during Spring Break, very affordable. We didn't have to say "no" due to expensive activities. The room was clean and quiet. The water park was a nice size for a family to stick together without getting too lost. All water activities were in working order. I agree with other reviews that the water park needs repair but it's mostly paint and aesthetics.
We were thankful breakfast was provided especially for the length of time.

This was our first time visiting. The attractions were fun for our girls, though 45 minutes in they asked to step outside to breathe fresher air. The room was very pungent with chlorine and is very humid- I get why though, being a large, heated, public indoor space and people are nasty. Regular breaks to step out were necessary for us though.

In the shallow pool I found a rusty, bent nail that was thick. It was near a corner of the pool that was crumbling and falling apart, so I’m not sure if it’s part of that or if it is from something else. I fully understand that staff and management can’t see everything that comes into the area or catch little things all the time. I certainly don’t blame anyone specifically, though it was disappointing to have found it in the area where the smallest, most susceptible feet will be moving.

To me, it also speaks to the need for updates to equipment as many attractions were covered in rust and clearly outdated. Again, I get people can only do and see so much in a busy place like this. Life happens, I know that I, as a parent, would appreciate seeing repairs be done that are easier to manage (like sealing broken cracks in pools). I know updates to larger equipment is costly, but these changes, in my mind, would make the price of admissions far more worth it.

This place is superb. Really can't find anything negative to say about our entire stay. Bought 3 rooms. Entire staff was amazing. From the lady that took our reservation (no hold time) , the check in ( Tonya and the manager), the maintenance man who came to check on our tv and arrived in 4 min only to find out it was simply unplugged to the tv , the lifeguards, and the check out people. Clean rooms, and breakfast was great. Just a wonderful trip and will def go back.

The room was a little worn and could use a face-lift, but it was generally clean and in good shape. The bathroom vent was not working and had quite a buildup of dust and lint. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Location on the Mississippi River and next to Diamond Jo casino is great.

I was excited to visit Grand Harbor Waterpark with my family, but unfortunately, the cleanliness of the facility was a major letdown. We noticed hair and other debris hanging off the waterpark equipment, which was unsettling and made us question overall hygiene standards.

While the slides and attractions themselves were fun, the lack of proper maintenance took away from the experience. We expected a higher level of cleanliness, especially in a water-based environment where sanitation is crucial.

I included pictures of the hair hanging off of the equipment with water dripping off of it. The other area with hair build up, had sludge on it; just like if you’ve ever picked hair out of a bath drain, very disturbing. A lot of rusty areas as well.

On top of that, the food was a major letdown. We spent a good amount of money expecting at least decent quality, but it was practically inedible. Whether it was the taste, freshness, or preparation, it simply wasn’t worth the cost.

I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves their cleaning protocols because this place has great potential. Until then, I’d be hesitant to return.

My boys are 7 and 10 and the waterpark was perfect for an overnight getaway. They absolutely loved the laser maze and extra activities the staff ran throughout our stay. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Room was clean and breakfast was a great perk.

The rooms were nice and clean. Bed sheets were kind of rough. we didn’t spend a whole lot of time in the baby swimming area. Mainly on the slides and swimming area. Needs a lot of work on it. Very rusty areas on the slides and fountains and stuff. The concessions was good and cheap we thought. Needs more sitting area also you gotta be fast when someone gets up to leave. one of the hot tubs was closed and the other was full of little kids and the chemicals in there was so strong that we sat in there for 5 minutes and our eyes were stinging and we was having trouble breathing. Needs more venting. After 3 hours my son was having trouble breathing because of all the chemicals in the air that we decided to head up to the rooms to just chill but over all it was a good time and fun thing to do for a night.
