The hotel is nice aesthetically and you can tell it's an Auburn themed spot right away. I brought my daughter for a campus visit and the location of the hotel is perfect for that. I had a similar experience to others of waiting at the front desk with no one present for a couple of minutes. Maybe just a desk bell if the person at the counter is alone?

The bathrooms lack for hooks or bars to hang towels. The shower has basically no pressure and the water doesn't get hot. There's only one small caddy in the corner of the shower. You'll have to sit bottles on the floor.

Great attention to form, not as much on function.

We had a great time at the Supper Club. The drinks were spectacular. Staff was very friendly, there was one small issue with how long the burgers were taking but Chris was incredible and made sure we had some delicious cake for dessert. I highly recommend the hamburger and the drink menu was truly exceptional.

A lot of potential. It's obvious they rushed to open for the football season. Room construction is poor especially the bathroom tile and molding finishes it's like a motel 6. Tiles falling off the walls. Cover all the gaps with gobs of caulk. Wash the navy blue grout tools out in the shower pan. Open three weeks they already need to renovate to fix the bad job.

Bring your own pillows. The ones here are awful.

Show up early to check in, you won't get the room you booked. Need two beds they put you in single and they don't even have cots to accommodate.

Go to the rooftop bar and restaurant, you'll wait literally hours for food. You have to ask the servers constantly to check on food or you'll never get it. They run out of every drink. They run out of all food. By 9pm the beer kegs were empty, they had to close early, and there were dozens of people pissed and leaving hungry who had been waiting for hours. It's complete chaos and disorganization. Abysmal experience for the guests.

This is 100% a management nightmare.

Maybe next season will be better.

It would be a 5 if they did not just open. Given we were the first guests they did an amazing job of fixing any issues that popped up. The hotel is very comfortable, the roof top is still not open. We were there for a campus tour and football game. The staff is amazing and plentiful. Highly accommodating. The rooms obviously are clean. ||Shout out to the team for their service given some of the start up issues which were: |Room key not working had to switch rooms / air conditioning set to one temp and had to be rebooted but it was working. Low water pressure. |All things were managed quickly and rectified. ||Give it a few weeks and I’m sure they will be in great shape! Be patient it’s a great place and right steps from campus.

The only way this place got 2 stars was because of our server and the sunset. The food was below average at best and somehow we paid $80 for 1 burger 1 (half filled)bar drink and 2 starters. The icing on the cake was the manager (Zack). One of the party asked if they had a certain type of drink and was given an over the shoulder “NO” as he was walking away. do yourself a favor go somewhere else the sun goes down and have some better, less expensive, food.

We read the reviews but because we are locals we decided to come check it out. They did such a great job with the interior decor perfect touches to complement everything War Eagle! I was surprised we were not greeted by the reception front desk person. Not even a hello. Instead he glanced at us and then went to painting the wall/hidden door. Yikes!! This is a service industry based business. The need to be friendly and engaging is a MUST to establish loyalty and reputation to a brand!
The rooftop patio/bar is such a great space with amazing views. A little too bright but overall a great vibe. There is a fun surprise on the roof and great photo opp!! Cheers to their designer!! Great job!
Unfortunately, the reviews we read were almost all fulfilled.
Slow service, running out of items etc.
The issues seem to be more of a management problem than a staff problem. Both of the waitresses we interacted with were new. Sounded like maybe 4-5 days new. They were eager to provide a great experience but lacked confidence and training including basic menu knowledge. I asked if the chicken on the nachos was grilled because I assumed it was not and I was told it was but indeed when they came it was not. I would’ve skipped the baked chicken add on.
Hopefully management will read the reviews and start making changes. It really is a great spot and if you go after reading the reviews and your expectations are level with the reviews you will have a great time. We did!

We stayed here during evacuation. The hotel has only been open a month and is bright new and clean. At check in our room wasn’t ready there were several folks in the lobby waiting to check in. I ask the young man if they had something I could go ahead and check into. The young man at the front desk obliged and we went to our room. I had ask about waving pet fees due to the evacuation, they did not. First time in many years of dealing with hurricanes this happened. Valet is cashless and not charged to your room. Took me a while to learn to use the text system. Overall experience was good but not worth the $$$$.

Review of the Graduate Hotel in Auburn

I recently stayed at the Graduate Hotel in Auburn and had an overall mixed experience. Let me start by saying that the valet service, particularly Gene and Sean, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, they were attentive, friendly, and efficient. Gene made check-in smooth, taking care of my bags and parking the car without a hitch. Their service really set a great tone for my stay.

However, when I got to my room, things weren’t quite as impressive. Most notably, the lights in the bathroom kept going out, which was not only inconvenient but also a bit frustrating. Maintenance was not contact due to this happening in the early am.

As for dining, I found the on-site restaurant to be fairly mediocre. The food was just okay—nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. Given the hotel’s location, I’d recommend exploring nearby restaurants instead of relying on what the hotel has to offer.

On the bright side, the valet service on departure was just as exceptional as when I arrived. Once again, Sean made the process seamless and stress-free. His professionalism and friendliness were truly the highlight of my stay.

In summary, while the valet service was top-notch thanks to Gene and Sean, the room issues and lackluster dining experience left me with mixed feelings. I might stay again for the location and excellent valet, but I hope the hotel can address some of these concerns.

All the Valet staff, especially Sean and Gene gets 10 stars! Keep up the good work guys!
