To begin, not enough parking paces. Our truck didn't fit under their minimum height to go into their underground parking. Had to unload our stuff & dog with kennel in the driveway. Then park across the street. And then lug all your stuff to your room. We go to check in. They charge $85.00 per night for our dog. I only saw "pet fees may apply". Are you kidding me, this is robbery. I questioned it at check in, she said it is in the fine print. Unbelievable. Two nights for 2 adults +senior dog $383.99 + $53.99 deposit. For a very outdated hotel. Sorry, but Golden Nugget has missed the boat. We will Never be back nor recommend your hotel. I know it's not a Red Roof, but really.

I will never stay here again. Rooms were dirty. Everything including rooms smelled like cigarette smoke. We made reservation with hotel reservation directly. They told us no fees for our little 6 lb medical assistance dog. Once we got here they charged us $75. We enjoy Laughlin and spend on average 14 days a year here. This is our first and last time at the golden nugget.

I really like this casino for a lot of reasons. All the employees seem to be pretty nice and welcoming, and for the price the rooms are pretty damn nice. The bar makes good drinks whether youโ€™re paying full price or getting free ones for playing slots. Overall good experience.

Our room had a great view. The issues we had the a/c control can not be adjusted you have to have someone from maintenance come up to the room and do it. The first night we were freezing. Went to the from desk to let the lady know it was too cold she said she would send someone up to adjust it which she did and then it was adjusted too hot. So, day 3 went back down and spoke to the same lady whom by the way was very nice and helpful. And she sent the person back up to our room to adjust it again. This time it was fine. Another issue was the toilet it had a very weak flush and the tank took for ever to refill. I have never seen a toilet tank take over 15 minutes to fill. This we did not report to the front desk. The gambling there was terrible slot machines and video poker machines were very tight. Cocktail waitresses were fantastic and took your order and returned with your drink very quick. So as usual the staff there are fantastic and that's what has kept up coming back !

The day I made the reservation I requested an e-mail confirmation. I never received it. Weeks later I called again to receive the confirmation. I was told I would get it within one hour. Never happened. Upon arrival at the hotel our rooms were located on the second floor of the west wing. We got to the elevators to find out that they did NOT work, something that the front desk FAILED to mention. I was told that we had to walk all the way to the end of the long hallway to another elevator, and then walk back to room. While waiting for the elevator we struck a conversation first with another guest who stated "this happens all the time. If is not the elevator, it is the escalator in the casino" I asked her "why would anybody stay there on a regular basis if this happens". She shrugged her shoulders and said "habit, I guess" An employee that was passing by said that not only the elevators break down but that everything breaks down regularly. Shortly thereafter we talked to another employee, who also confirmed the same. We then found out that the elevator on the East wing was also NOT operational. Subsequently, I read some of the reviews and found out that a guest had complained about the elevators not being operational in AUGUST 2024 for 3 days!!!|If I would have known all this, I would have never stayed at this hotel. While in our room I tried logging in to the internet but was unable to do so. I called the front desk to get help. I was told that the user name and password came up on the TV screen when you turned it on. Another thing I was not told about!. Well, I tried it but there was no place to insert a user name or password on the computer. i called again and was then told " Oh yea, we are switching to a new system, "try this" Even, that so called new system is obsolete trying to enter a security key!!|Later why trying to recover our car from valet, we waited 10 minutes for an attendant. He showed up in what looked to be his personal car where he was obviously taking a break. When we returned to the hotel at 11 pm. he never showed up!! I had to park my car. It is supposed to be open until midnight. |The rooms are in dire need of renovation, old furniture, old carpeting, corrosion in the bathrooms. It is sad to see that the owners of the hotel have given up on the Golden Nugget, which no longer appears to be very golden, but more like a greyish Nugget!

Easy check in. That is where it ends. Checked in to the room early went up checked it out and it was humid and hot in the room. So set the thermostat to 70โ€™s, and came back later still hot well over a hour. So called the front desk. Then waited over a hour with multiple call to front desk. Then the space cadet at the front desk sent me to the operator? Why is beyond me.. finally got an Engineer to the room kinda fix. Guest have thermostats you canโ€™t adjust. You would think at this point the nightmare is over. Left again for a couple hours room is still warm after coming back. but more neglect from years of poor maintenance were waiting. I go to plug in my phone charger the bed side light falls off the wall. So Happy 1 year anniversary to my wife and I!!! We get to sit and wait for multiple room repairs that should have been repaired over the years, instead of being ignored by lazy management. Oh mold and serious roof damage lol. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

It wasn't the service I got there I stayed there for 8 days this month end of last I made sure I charged everything to my room that I spent in gift. Show restrunts gambled a little bit after are 8 day stay me girlfriend and I checked out the bill was over 3200 dollars with with 500 to 600 being room costs rest was restrunts and gift shop. I waited a few day and call asked do we get any points for restrunt or giftshop or hotel stay being it was the upwards of 3000 dollars. Every other casino on the strip was. 1 to 1for purchases and resturnts. Was asked my players card the machine I liked wouldn't take my players card but still played it the same gave her my players card number she said you didn't play enough for me to do anything I was dumb founded I didn't ask anything about playing comps I asked for a 3200 bill I 7night 8 day stay offers no comp value if I knew that I'd of went somewhere he'll of alot nicer or a place that we could earn points it was a rip off over prices compared to ever other place in laughlin I like the golden nugget in Vegas and in altic city so I figure get a run up on points before I was going to vegas for my birthday in February instead of getting a point jump start for vegas they lost a consumer forever its was a 3000 dollar lesson I hope Noone has to deal with go to trop harahs aquarius riverside edgewater or lodge in that order skip the golden nugget over priced and you earn nothing for showing loyalty to a place 8 days along time of them getting every meal and stuff girlfriend want e d for gift shop 140 dollar purse 210 dollar shirt. We would of spent so much more money there or the other nuggets for both are birthdays we go every year but not again
