My daughter and I had a wonderful visit! We loved spending time in the cozy cabin. Board games, puzzles, books, and lots of yummy snacks! We lit fires and enjoyed spending time in the cabin’s various nooks. Also a fun yard area to run around and swing on a wooden bench. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts (Darin and Toni) were friendly and accommodating. We cannot wait to go back. We love the Bouquet room!

Darrin and Amy (and Toni!) provided my girlfriend and I with an amazing weekend experience! The accommodations (Ted Ducey Suite), the morning breakfast and kitchen area (with snacks, hot chocolate, popcorn and other goodies available 24/7), the lobby (with an old Victrola that played wonderful classical music from the Crosby/Sinatra era), and the huge wood pile to keep our fireplace going all weekend long were just some of the fantastic memories we will keep of this great B&B! The suite was huge, the furnishings were beyond comfortable, the good-sized bathroom and deep jacuzzi tub were just icing on the cake for our romantic getaway! We will absolutely be back to see Darrin and Amy soon! We felt like we arrived as strangers and left as good friends. Please visit this terrific bed and breakfast. You’ll feel the same as we did! We stayed for the weekend and enjoyed every bit of it. The hosts were very welcoming, and had lots of activities available for their guests. Breakfast was freshly made every morning, and allowed all the guests an opportunity to meet each other and interact. The room we stayed in (Cozy Pine) was very homely.

An Amazing Stay!

I’m a huge fan of renting places with a modern aesthetic, and I probably wouldn’t have considered booking this b&b because it’s different from what I usually look for. I must say, though, I would have missed out on a fantastic experience – this place is AMAZING.

I can’t thank our host enough for the exceptional hospitality during our weekend stay at this beautiful bed & breakfast. It was a special weekend for us, as my fiancé proposed, and the host went above and beyond to help make the occasion even more memorable. Their thoughtfulness truly made the experience unforgettable.

The place itself is absolutely stunning – the décor is gorgeous, and everything is impeccably clean. It’s a place full of history, with charming details that make everything more interesting, like the guestbook filled with handwritten notes from visitors over the years. We especially loved the cozy fireplaces, which added such a warm and inviting atmosphere. There are also plenty of games available to pass the time, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

To top it all off, we were fortunate to be staying with other wonderful guests who made breakfast even more delightful and fun. This place truly exceeded all our expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and welcoming getaway.

Loved our time here. The house was super cute, especially with the Christmas lights. The hosts are awesome, breakfast was great, and the room was very nice.
The If I go back to Big Bear, I know I’ll stay here again.

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and our experience was wonderful! Upon walking in you are greeted with an immediate cozy vibe and beautiful furniture and ambiance. The kitchen is small and quaint but has all the essentials; cereal, popcorn, protein bars, cookies, snacks,hot cocoa making ingredients including little marshmallows, coffee, creamer, a milk frother, microwave, and ice machine. Additionally there are mugs and cups for your use.

We stayed in the bouquet room and it was so cozy. The tv gives you the ability to log in to your Netflix, Hulu, etc
There are small things that were also appreciated like floss, Q-tips, makeup wipes, Dr. Teals lavender lotion, and bath salt for taking a bath. The provided robes were also very soft. My literally only complaint was that the bed was very firm which I'm not used to but extra pillows helped.

The highlight of the trip was the breakfast provided at 9 a.m. - starting with a delicious yogurt fruit parfait and orange juice and coffee. We had an amazing egg quiche with sausage and potatoes on one morning and the next day we had blueberry Nutella french toast with bacon. It was heaven!

At night, the manor is illuminated by beautiful lights outside. It was a little chilly but we made hot cocoa and sat outside for a bit.

I 100% recommend this place if you need a nice relaxing stay in Big Bear that feels homey. The folks who run the bed and breakfast Darrin, Amy, and Toni were the nicest!!!

I was just here for a wedding this past weekend and was left speechless! The staff were so welcoming and helpful, you can tell they take great pride in the property and caring for their guests. The entire venue was perfect and they thought of everything to the last and finest detail. I would recommend Gold Mountain Manor to anyone and everyone and already can't wait to return!

Excellent service from the very friendly staff. We stayed in the presidential suite and it was excellent. Would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone. It is a fairytale setting that should not be overlooked anytime you’re in Big Bear.
