We had a wonderful stay at Gold Miners Inn! It’s a pet-friendly hotel (with a pet fee), which made traveling with our furry friend so much easier. The hot breakfast each morning was great, with eggs, sausage, bacon, coffee, juice, and bread—plenty to start the day off right.

One of the highlights was the happy hour from 5-7 PM, where we enjoyed two complimentary drinks—we had beer and margaritas, which were perfect after a long day. The location is also fantastic, within walking distance to the promenade and restaurants. We had dinner at The Thirsty Barrel, which we highly recommend.

The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, making our stay even better. Overall, a fantastic experience.

This is a jewel. Just a short walk to downtown where there are great stores and restaurants. The room was clean and quiet. The front desk was always helpful and friendly. They even provided a free happy hour drink in the lobby. I will always stay here when I return to Grass Valley. Great breakfast too and a coffee and tea station set up all day!

What a cute hotel! Stayed here while I was covering some work shifts in Grass Valley and it was adorable! They had an excellent breakfast and a stellar cocktail hour in the evening! Drinks and snacks included.

If you want to experience the real America, away from the big towns, this is the place for you. It has charm, great restaurants, an excellent second-hand bookstore, nice stores and very friendly citizens. Also, its Cornish Christmas is an event worth driving out of the way for. It's also a good stop-off place as part of a road trip.
