This place is as lovely now as it was 20 years ago. The garden and creek is great for sitting and relaxing and listening to through the night. I love the quick and easy breakfast and wondered each morning if the yogurt is homemade, so yummy! Great place for a little getaway and just a hop skip and jump away from downtown Nevada City. Very walkable!

Only stayed 1 night but loved it! We stayed in Falling Waters room. Just beautiful on the bottom floor with a beautiful view of the Creek. Priya? was so nice and helpful. There are chairs and tables and a firepit in the gardens you can relax in. And we did at night just listening to the creek and enjoying the peacefulness! And it is a quick walk to the main street of town. The room was small so we took only what we needed in. Bed was comfortable, bathroom spotless and the shower was great! So many little touches in the room to discover and admire. I would love to come back and stay more than 1 might. Breakfast was very good with muffins and breads, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, granola, yogurt and fruit. The Bread was so good! Many thanks to our Hostess for making such a wonderful place to stay!

So much is wonderful about this B&B! It is charming and adorable. The atmosphere is so peaceful. Beautiful waterfall and greenery everywhere. Our room had a balcony with French doors and table and chairs right outside. A perfect place to enjoy our bottle of wine and some amazing cheese from the local cheese shop in Nevada City. ||Parking can be a challenge in Nevada City, but not if you stay here, you simply walk over the bridge and there are many shops and restaurants to choose from.) **Don't forget to visit the cheese place next to Three Forks).||Our Hostess, Priya is so sweet and nice. Very helpful with recommendations of where to go in the area. We also "caught" her making some fresh banana bread for the next mornings breakfast!! Really a nice place to re-charge.

Such a wonderful place to stay! Pyrite room I stayed in was very nice! Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of nice chill spots to relax next to the creek. Location very close to anything you need. Staff was very helpful and super kind! 10/10 would stay longer if I could! Definitely check this place out!

Absolutely gorgeous grounds and the home is beautifully and tastefully appointed. Bob and Jep are absolutely wonderful hosts, and the breakfast was to die for! I've never felt so pampered! Just a block from town, but miles from any hustle and bustle. The gentle sound of the creek is so relaxing. We totally enjoyed just sitting on our private balcony overlooking the creek and soaking up the beauty surrounding us. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

What could be said that hasn't already been said? It's so pretty, with lots of attention to detail. My friend and I actually had trouble leaving the property, because it's so nice there! We stayed in one of the two downstairs rooms, which are adorable, each featuring the softest sheets, a private little balcony, and a modernized bathroom. The landscaping out back along the creek is amazing! It is a short walk over a bridge to town. The main areas of the house are spacious and lovely. Breakfast is continental style (but lots of choices of breads and cereals and beautifully cut fruit) during the week, which worked well for us. One night we came "home" and Jep was cooking an amazing Thai dinner outside, which they are thinking of adding in as an option at some point! There is a big outdoor deck to spend time on as well, which is so nice in the summer. But the hosts are what made it an even more perfect stay. Bob and Jep are super friendly but not overbearing at all, they just have a sense of how much interaction their guests may or may not want? They are in and out, available but it is also possible to have common areas to yourself at times. It felt homey and private at the same time. We already want to go back!

My husband and I stayed in the glamping tent for one night in August 2018. The amenities were fantastic, both Bob and Jep are great people who go above and beyond to make sure guest feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious and the grounds are gorgeous. We walked to downtown in about five minutes time and did the Tribute trail (approximately 2 miles) loop from the inn and back to downtown. It was a great trip. We highly recommend Gold Creek Inn!

The ABSOLUTELY best birthday ever at Gold Creek Inn! Bob and Jep are warm and welcoming hosts. Each room (we had a tour!) is unique and very comfortably appointed. The extra touches like coffee "stations" and warm treats are delightful. Great outdoor areas with fire pits and plenty of seating right on the creek. I can't wait to go back!
