This Golf course resort is incredible!! The the golf on both Dinosaur Mountain and Sidewinder are amazing!! One thing that makes the courses so unique is having as many as 6 different tee boxes to play from on nearly every hole! Also, the condition of both courses are so well manicured! The views, the conditions, the weather, the staff, wow!!

What a wonderful experience!! Making the reservation was super easy Joelene was so very helpful with fulfilling our needs. Checking in was fast and Josie was very friendly. Our room was big and comfortable and very clean. We did eat at the restaurant, and we were very impressed with the food and service as well. We will be back!

This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. Check in went fine, though they told us we couldn't store the keys next to our phones or credit cards because they would get wiped (this turned out to be true, all of our friends got locked out of their rooms due to this.) We were a little surprised with how far we had to walk from our car to our room and I'm glad we rented a tiny car or else we would not have been able to get through the road to get back to the rooms because all the trucks parked there were blocking half of the road.

We got into the room and noticed that it was very hot and then saw the sign that you aren't supposed to set the thermostat below 70. In the desert. When I set the temperature, I couldn't be sure whether it was actually set to 70 because it was an analogue slider thermostat that I hadn't seen since the 90's. Over the next three days, I don't think the temperature got below 78ish in the room unless we opened the sliding door to the outside at night.

The next thing we noticed in the welcome brochure was that they don't offer daily turn down service. They'll bring you towels if you call the front desk, but they don't change sheets, they don't empty trashcans, no tidying whatsoever. We did call for extra towels once because there was some goop on one of the towels, which is when we discovered that the room phone didn't work.

General problems with the room: the lights in the bathroom were all different hues, which was disorienting. The (tiny) mini-fridge was iced over and clearly hadn't been thawed in years, and one of the brackets on the door can holder was missing. We had trouble fitting a six pack in there. The headboard on the bed was screwed into the baseboard on the wall and wasn't secured any other way, which made it very unstable. Any twitch on the bed caused the headboard to slam against the wall to the point where I shoved a pillow behind the headboard to stop it from waking us up in our sleep.

All these issues made for a bad experience, but the worst part came on the morning of check out. I had called the front desk the night before (from my cell phone, because the room phone didn't work) to request a late check out. The person at the front desk told me that was fine, and that we could check out before noon for free (normal checkout is 11) and every hour after that for a $25 fee. I said fine, we'll be out by noon. At literally 11:01 the next morning, a maintenance tech barged into our room without knocking, I was just in my underwear, my girlfriend was still in bed. He didn't notice me until I said hello, he apologized and left. Ten minutes later ANOTHER maintenance tech barged in without knocking and noticed me right away, apologized profusely and left.

The front desk then called my girlfriend to see if we were still there and to try to shove us out the door. As I was packing the car the 2nd maintenance guy came up to me and apologized again and said that the front desk had called the room and there was no response so they assumed we had checked out. I said well our room phone doesn't work, and you should still knock before entering a guest room regardless of whether you think someone is in there or not.

I gave two stars because the location is very cool and the restaurant was nice, though expensive. If this place was just a golf course, it would probably be fine, but the hotel itself was horrible.

I didn't stay at the resort. I only played golf. The staff at the course was amazing. Very friendly and welcoming to our entire group. The golf course was one of the most beautiful courses I've played. And was in excellent condition. Thanks to the entire staff for being so gracious.

Might have been a 4 star hotel 20 years ago but falls horribly short in current standards. Room felt more like a sketchy no-name motel in the middle of nowhere than any kind of resort. Don't be fooled by the photos.

AC was analog and rough in the nice fall temps, so loud it woke me up kicking on throughout the night. Bathtub was downright hazardous without the tiny non-slip mat but that contained globs of shampoo/conditioner and wasn't cleaned. Building layout was confusing and long walks between parking and your room, good luck if you're there in bad weather or warmer temps.

Scenery was gorgeous but that's where the delight ends unfortunately.

Came here for a wedding, was a bit pricey for the location as room / hut had to be aired out for awhile. Good gateway to the superstition mountains for which the pool felt good afterwards.

Nice site with gravel for RV and paved patio. Convenient for dog owners as both small and large dog parks are nearby. Small park had new artificial turf plus water available as well as shade. Our cocker spaniels got to meet and greet other dogs their size and run around off leash to burn off energy.
