I almost never leave reviews, but I am so charmed by this place that I feel compelled. I generally prefer hotels over b&b’s any day, but Glenallen’s Rustic Resort genuinely surprised me. The rooms had plenty of pillows, a fridge, microwave, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, and even toothbrushes. Our queen bed was very comfortable. Free WiFi included.
The common area is clean and inviting and host, Eric, very friendly. Checked in on a Friday night and it was surprisingly quiet despite the full house. Only good things to say!

I was in Glennallen for a business trip and a coworker recommended this place. It is an excellent place! The hosts were great - both helpful and relaxed. My room was comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well stocked so you can make a variety of breakfasts and you can bring your own food and cook up whatever you want. The dining options in Glenallen are quite limited so having a kitchen was important. The setting is so beautiful. Of course the entire area is just stunning. I will most definitely stay here again.

What a pleasant experience. The owner was friendly and nice. We had access to all of the amenities and it was a very comfortable and pleasurable experience. I love this b&b, so cozy and cute! I prefer the upstairs rooms, they are quieter (I only had the downstairs room once but other guests had stayed up late being loud in the main room and kept me awake which was a bummer). The owners are super nice and make breakfast in the morning when they're around.

Two couples travelling from Australia, last minute booking during winter. We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived! The house is absolutely beautiful and so homely & very very cosy. We were met by Eric who was an excellent host, extremely welcoming and up for a chat. Our rooms were great, the perfect log cabin experience in Alaska. In the morning Eric made us all breakfast and gave us a few must see places along the road for our trip back to Anchorage. Highly recommend, wish we could have stayed longer!

Just spent 3 nights here during a business trip in the area. Eric was a fantastic host. Each morning he fixed us breakfast. His wife Cynthia was wonderful and daughter Lily adorable. Hash (Siberian husky pup) and Princess (Alaska husky mix) are beautiful. |Warm, welcoming, and clean lodge. Nice rooms with comfortable beds. We had full access to the kitchen so we cooked dinner a couple of nights since many of the restaurants were closed for the winter. |Eric entertained us with stories during the evening. Great place to stay I wholeheartedly recommend this lodge. |

We stayed at Rustic Resort May 30, 2017 (it's not letting me pick anything before 2018) on our vacation thru Alaska stopping in Glennallen our 2nd night after flying into Anchorage and renting a car. Our hosts were very gracious and informative and suggested a place for dinner with a magnificent view then took a late evening walk on the road behind their home and it was still light at 10:30 pm. The breakfast was wonderful. A few weeks before we arrived Eric called to confirm our reservation because he had something to happen with his books, which reassured me our room would be ready. I made sure to ask for a private bathroom. Almost 2 years later we still talk about our trip thru Glennallen and think about Eric and Cynthia often. Hi! Would stay again.
