We had a very good experience yesterday. All of the staff are super friendly. They don’t mind us staying until closing time. They even gave us 2 boxes of free pastries. I will definitely come back and bring guests here. Thank you Gío’s for your great food, great ambiance, warm and friendly customer service, 👌🏼😊🥐

Super lovely atmosphere and really great service. The food is delicious, freshest greens I've seen in a cafe! The croissant breakfast sandwich was delightful, and the pistachio beignet was the perfect texture and flavor. Yum!

The owner is friendly and really knows how to welcome his customers. It’s clean and spacious inside. Mind you, the pastries are good and so are their sandwiches, particularly their ham and cheese and turkey croissant. It’s right next to Jersey Mike’s and the prices are on the high side. But, you get what you pay for.

It is fantastic that Gio's is now in La Canada! The imported French pastries, amazing sandwiches, salads, coffee drinks, and pastries are the best in the area. Enjoy them for breakfast, lunch, or to go.

Try the French Pastries, crepes, or paninis. You will be glad you did!

Normally great but selling stale baked goods will close a place fast. Managers and owners hope you’re reading. Beignet was super stale and stiff and old, yet sold to me as fresh. The bagged pain au lait was not fresh either. Hope things improve and I will try it again. If they do, I will remove this review.

I had an unusually bad experience at Gio's La Canada today. After we ordered and were looking for a table noticed that several tables had yet to be bussed. Then when I received my BLTA the bacon was raw! It was like there was a blob of warm fat on a croissant. I ordinarily don't send food back but the bacon was uncooked. I asked if they could make the bacon crispy. When the sandwich finally came back out, the bacon was barely cooked. I went up to the counter and asked for a box so I could take my sandwich home and cook the bacon myself. The young women working there were very lackadaisical about it. I was given a box with no apologies. I took it home and threw the bacon in the air fryer over for 6 minutes on reheat and it was crispy perfection. Except the croissant was now soggy. It was a very disappointing visit to Gio's La Canada.

The BEST! It’s a little piece of Paris; elegant, fresh, nothing is too sweet or too heavy. Everything is presented beautifully, and the prices are very fair. Not to mention, their customer service continues to be excellent every time I visit. Love Gio’s!
