EDIT: After working with customer service I have amended my rating from 1 to 3 stars. I can’t rate them any higher because: 1. They initially only offered us a partial refund for the service they mistakenly billed us for, which is incomprehensible. 2. Customer service never offered any compensation for the difference in price between the discounted Lightning Passes we attempted to purchase and the expensive passes we were forced to buy in the park. 3. Simply put, my vacation would have been happier and less stressful if Get Away Today had never been involved. All these things considered, three stars is as generous as I can be.

Original Review: We purchased Disneyland tickets for one park a day. A week before the visit we called to add Lightning Lane passes. They turned our tickets into Park Hoppers instead (at well above the price Disneyland would have charged), and failed to add the Lightning Lane at all. It was the second day, while trying to get refunds for the missing Lightning Lane, when we realized they charged us for Hoppers which we neither wanted or needed. Having never been to Disneyland, I was confused about the ticket names and the prices, and the communication with their team didn’t help. When we finally worked out what happened, I was told they would “analyze” the phone call next week and then consider a refund. Meanwhile I’m short nearly $500 in the middle of a family vacation due to their screw-up and they’ll “get to it” after the weekend.

Thank you Get away today! I came across get away today through an ad on Instagram. After going to the website and planning our trip to Disneyland, the final result felt too good to be true in comparison to the prices I was getting for planning the trip on my own. After looking at reviews I went ahead and booked our trip through get away today. The process was seamless. The communication was excellent. We didn't run into any snags. The instructions on how to book your reservations with Disneyland were clear. No hidden fees or surprise charges. Get away today took care of everything. We just paid and showed up. We have a family of 6 and we need every discount we can get. Get away today allowed me to have an unforgettable family vacation at a reasonable price and will be a staple for vacation planning moving forward.

We found out about Get Away Today Vacations by watching Provost Park Pass on YouTube, with that channel being one of the best Disney park blogs. So we thought we’d give Get Away Today a try. The first time we tried to use them was a couple years ago for Disneyland Paris. Unfortunately, due to some system glitches on Disney’s side, Get Away was able to help but not book our itinerary. Despite this, the person helping us (Brooklyn) provided amazing and prompt customer service. So when it came time to book a new trip to Disney World, we reached out again. This time we worked with Brooke on our plans. We had an idea of what we wanted but Brooke was able to chat with us and provide a variety of options. In speaking with Brooke, we could tell the company has a good handle on all things Disney. But the icing on the cake is the help we received by using their concierge service. The team was able to secure all our requested restaurant reservations and lightning lane bookings without us having to get up extremely early. All of this was done with great service and a friendly demeanour. So many thanks to Brooke, Brooklyn, and Ella for helping get our family ready for our trip!

They are very responsive on FB messenger! No chat boxes to keep open or waiting for an email back!
