Where do I begin? Charlotte is the friendliest! So welcoming and very informative about the area. The house is a gem in itself with so much history! The beds were SO comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious and the shower was so inviting after a few days camping. Breakfast in the morning was amazing, very filling and then on our way out we got an amazing little furry send off from the two pups! We’ll be back. Thank you so much Charlotte for an amazing stay!

Would highly recommend staying at the George Johnson House! Charlotte is the most gracious host who went above and beyond to ensure I had the best vacation. She even taught me how to go clamming and how to clean the clams! Charlotte knows all the hidden gems on the peninsula and is more than willing to share. She's also an amazing cook and baker! She made me a side of peach cobbler for breakfast! Although the house is gorgeous and so comfortable, Charlotte and her dogs make it such an inviting home. Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves and waking up to the smell of the fresh ocean breeze was incredibly relaxing. I might have gone for the clam festival but my stay at the George Johnson House was the absolute highlight of my trip. To anyone looking for the perfect getaway, I highly recommend staying at the George Johnson House!

We had a wonderful stay at The George Johnson House, a quaint bed and breakfast in Ocean Park. The host, Charlotte, was very welcoming and attentive to my needs. She had treats waiting for us upon our arrival. Charlotte provided great local stories, recommendations to a great restaurant, and in the morning cooked delicious breakfast. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with a lovely view of the garden. The bed and breakfast is located in a quiet and peaceful area, but close enough to the town and attractions. I would highly recommend the George Johnson House to anyone looking for a relaxing and charming getaway.

An absolute delight! A ‘must stay’ old home in a great location. Our hostess was a jewel, friendly and informative (and one hell of a cook!). The George Johnson house is wonderfully maintained with all the 1913 flavor of a well designed home.

Highly recommended! My guy and I had a 2-night stay in the Tyee room (upstairs, very comfortable king bed, private bathroom) in October. Everything was very clean and in working order -- I'll highlight that we had no problems with the WiFi or hot water, since those are common hiccups. We enjoyed the Native American decor throughout the house. Charlotte's cooking was excellent and plentiful, and she was wonderfully friendly and helpful in every way. We will definitely return! Tip if you tend to run hot - the dining and living rooms were kept very warm; next time I'll bring flip flops and a light top (rather than warm winter booties and a sweater) to wear indoors.

This is a beautiful old home run by a wonderful host ! Having never stayed in an actual bed and breakfast before I wasn’t sure what to expect. But Charlotte blew us away!! By the time we left after just 3 nights I felt like she was a new friend! She provides a full breakfast each morning but we were just using the house as overflow accommodations for a cabin we have in ocean park, so we declined breakfast for the 1st two days. But Charlotte insisted on making a peach cobbler to send with us the 1st day and then apple dumplings the second day. This is in addition to sending a plate of cookies the day we checked in since we wouldn’t be around as much. The 3rd day we stayed for breakfast and Charlotte invited our adult children to come (they were staying in the family cabin). They loved meeting Charlotte and her sweet pups! I could go on and on with details about how she made our stay the best ever. The house is incredibly clean and the spacious rooms are decorated with antiques and family pictures and culture. Every room has its own private bath which is a welcome bonus. It has a huge porch wrapping around to relax on no matter the weather. Charlotte actually lives in a cottage just behind the house so you don’t have to worry about bothering her with your comings and goings, but I’d bet she’d pop in to say hi and see if you needed anything. |We will definitely be passing her info on to other family and friends!!|The only small drawback are the stairs to the upper rooms are quite steep- however there is a wonderful suite on the 1st floor to remedy that! The location is walking distance to the beach and to Jacks Country store - where if they don’t have it, you don’t need it! It’s a must visit! |I honestly am not certain that I want everyoe to find out about this hidden gem in ocean park! I’m afraid she’ll be booked a year out! |Thank you Charlotte for making our stay perfect!

Stepping into the home you just know you are in a restful haven. Charlotte greets you with love and attentive care and then you sink in and relax. We were treated with the most delicious of treats, served an AMAZING BREAKFAST, and loved hearing about the host's travels and life experiences. Coffee was hot and plentiful. Our bed delicious, and though we could only stay one night, we'll be back again once we are on the Long Beach Peninsula. We haven't stopped telling our friends about this place. ahh.... heaven

We had a lovely stay at this charming B and B. It is a historic, craftsman style house filled with antiques. We stayed in the Tyee room. The bed and pillows were super comfy. There is an en suite bathroom with a shower that had excellent water pressure. The best part of the stay was our hostess, Charlotte. What a gem! She was helpful in suggesting things to do/see, though the highlight was her amazing breakfasts and homemade snacks. She is simply a kind person who clearly likes to entertain. We recommend The Depot restaurant In Seaview for dinner.
