I enjoyed my stay at the Geiger Victorian B&B. Jane and Skip run a beautifully restored Victorian with grace and charm. My room and private bath were very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast in the dining room each morning was very pleasant with the other guests and Jane and Skip joined in the conversation when they could. I love the neighborhood in Tacoma. Great walking with views of the Puget Sound and tree-lined streets. The Geiger home has a storied history that I enjoyed hearing about from Jane and Skip. I hope to return again next years.

While hosts Jane and Skip are incredibly sweet, this is definitely a step back in time, which some folks might love. The main issue for me was no A/C and the windows don't open as the house is so old, so the only option for air was a fan and an open door. My allergies were a bit of a problem as well due to the dust and older furnishings, upholstery, rugs, and curios. Had a bit of trouble getting my bag up the stairs as well. Only street parking, but there were plenty of spots. The breakfast was petit but tasty, and again, the hosts were very kind.

My daughter and I were here for college tours. The house was lovely and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The accommodations were perfect for us, and the food delicious. I would totally stay here again! The stairs were a little narrow, but we were able to get our bags up without trouble.

I chose this B and B because it looked interesting and was reasonably priced and close to our destination. The room (and the rest of the house) was clean, comfortable, and interesting to explore. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back..

This was such a charming bed and breakfast. I loved how much love and time that the hosts put into this historic home. Full Maximalist decoration until you enter the rooms which are peaceful simple and clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and home cooked. It was also nice to chat with all the other guests and feel at home. If you have a car this place is very accessible. Using public transportation expect a 20 minute walk which is very charming.

We stayed for three nights while attending a wedding on Vashon Island. Skip and Jane are delightful hosts and we enjoyed our morning chats over coffee. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was fantastic each day (eggs one day, french toast another, then crepes). Jane double-checked with us (and others) on any dietary restrictions and set up breakfast accordingly for each individual. It is as Victorian a house as one can find, full of period furniture and trinkets galore to keep you busy just checking out each room.||||Jane went above and beyond for us as our flight was delayed so we could not make our first night. I called and let her know that we wouldn't arrive until the next morning. Since it was after the official time to cancel the room, I was already planning to pay for the night since they did not have time to re-book, but she wouldn't charge me for it. Then, after we decided to stay an extra night, she re-arranged rooms so that we could stay in our same room even though it had already been booked by someone else. Just little things that made the trip great. ||||I have traveled to Seattle a number of times but never had spent any real time in Tacoma. The town has really blossomed over the past decade, losing a lot of the industrial nature. The streets around the inn are very walkable and we enjoyed getting up early and perusing the neighborhood and then heading up to Point Defiance Park and over to Vashon. The ferry is only 10 minutes away.||||An enjoyable stay and definitely would stay again if we are back that way.
