We stayed for a weekend! We arrived early but we were allowed to park near the cabin we were going to be staying in and were able to get on the trails. Very appreciative. The owners were very responsive with any of our needs and were all around amazing. The cabins are so cozy and very well kept. We would definitely stay again!

We had such a great time in the Denali Cabin. Very spacious and had all the amenities we needed for 6 adults and a baby. The northern lights even came out! Hosts were awesome and communicated well. We’ll definitely be going back!

We were blessed to find such a wonderful place to stay this past fall! We enjoyed the cozy, well decorated and appointed cabin. It was very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen, and linens. Views of Denali were stunning! It is a short drive to Denali State Park for hiking nearby. A true gem.

We unfortunately did not get to stay at the cabins because they were booked up for the new year weekend but we were lucky enough to book a snow mobile excursion with Mac. Mac and Ellie are the new owners/operators of Gate Creek and we are excited to come back and stay with them at a later date. The nicest young couple that pay close attention to every detail….down to the professional photos, delicious lunch, and fun times. We had a fantastic first time experience on their snowmobile excursion and would highly recommend booking with them.

Highly recommended.. great place with great views! The cabins are everything you need for a comfortable staycation. Ellie, Mac, and Kim do everything in their power to make the best accommodations. And make you feel like you’re part of the Gate Creek Lodge family. The views are incredible and definitely worth going out and exploring. With Denali being the biggest draw, the entire area is beautiful. Over all really enjoyed my stay at Gate Creek Lodge. 10 out 10. Thank you guys for an awesome time!

Excellent new owners and great stay. We really enjoyed our two nights of playing games, cooking dinner and watching movies. We also loved the Snowmachines we rented from Gate Creek. Even with the lack of snow, we had an awesome day on the trails.

Great hospitality and newly remodeled cabins. Good location with nice trail system and awesome view of Denali. Lots of options for rentals sleds and ways to explore. Great Alaskan feel. Highly recommend.

We visited Gate Creek in the mid-September off-season, 2024, in an effort to see fall colors and the aurora borealis. It did not disappoint! The fall colors were spectacular, but the aurora was even more magnificent. We stayed in the Beaver's Hideaway cabin which was super clean, had 2 bedrooms, a large kitchen, and a large family room. It was on the shore of a small lake. We were able to see and photograph the aurora from the deck outside the cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet solitude. Talkeetna is a short drive away and we enjoyed the visit, but Gate Creek was a great place to use as our home base and to see the area. Thanks to Rod for making us feel welcome and making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay!
