Very cute place, awesome host, and affordable to boot! Location is great too, around 30 min to Palms Book, Seney Wildlife Refuge, and Fayette, all of which I highly recommend. And just a little over an hour and a very scenic drive to Pictured Rocks, which is an absolute must-see. Pack a cooler with food and drinks and keep it in your car so you can spend the whole day exploring. When you get back, you can grill and/or have a fire near the lake or on the little beach. Loved our time here.

We drove past this motel on recent trip up here and thought how cute it looks. We looked at reviews online and they were overwhelmingly positive so we booked a 5 day trip. The motel is an older one but wonderfully kept up. Very clean and pretty rooms comfortably furnished. Eva, the owner, is sweet and anxious to help. We will definitely be coming back here again!
