Our family of 4 with 2 teenagers stayed here for a night and I am already planning on when I can come back with some girlfriends. It is located about 90 min from Homer and on the beautiful Kasilof river. Bob and Dot the owners are very nice and accommodating people and provide everything to make your stay here perfect. The rooms are spacious with lots of amenities like nice linens, soap, shampoo, towels, etc. The main house where we stayed has 2 kitchens equipped with snacks, Farm fresh eggs, sausage and breakfast food for you to prepare, plus coffee, tea, etc. There is a fabulous gazebo out front w a large fire pit, s’mores, camp chairs, and everything needed for a great fire pit while watching the subset. Recommend this place if you’re visiting the Kenai Peninsula. You can fish, tube and kayak the River. Also, Katmai plane tours available from here. Recommend!

Our family of four stayed for 4 nights Aug 2020. The setting is beautiful even in the rain. The hosts are the kindest people, helping with fishing, breakfast, suggestions on outings and on and on! We would stay again without hesitation. They were especially kind to the children. Nice freezer to store your catch! Short drive to Soldotna, but you can make your meals at the lodge and enjoy the beauty of the Kasilof river. You will enjoy!

Bob and Dot are great hosts and went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. The accommodations are first class and we love the cozy in floor radiant heat. Towels, sheets, and bedding are crisp and fresh. Beautiful lodge and setting right on the river with everything you need including fishing gear and ranch fresh eggs. Very conveniently located and the only sound is that gorgeous river out front. Five stars. Enjoy your stay!

Our family stayed at the Gallery Lodge this past June and had a fantastic time. We did fishing, horseback riding, and summer sled dog rides. This was our second trip to the lodge and we'll definitely be going back as soon as we can. Dot is an amazing host and really cares about the people staying there. Her dog Sadie was always welcoming us from our travels!

We stayed at the Gallery Lodge August 3 & 4, 2016. The hosts were warm, generous, and accommodating. We stayed in one of the Potter rooms. We found the room very clean and well equipped. We loved having the use of the large kitchen area for preparing our own meals. The best part was sitting out on the deck and watching the river roll by. Ahhhhhhhh, relaxation.

We came in late September, long after the fish and tourist season. The rooms were comfortable. Our room used a central bath that was well-stocked and luxurious. The lodge has a lot of electronic features, like central music and motion driven night lights that I find off-putting. The main room has a beautiful view of the river and the northern sky - this would be a good place to stay in the winter to watch northern lights.||||Breakfast is cook-it-yourself, with good coffee, Cereal choice was limited, but there were plenty of other things.||||The lodge is set up for parties, with a movie room upstairs and the main room for gatherings. We had the whole place to ourselves, but shy, retiring types should ask about any events that will go on during their stay.

Stay here!! It's right on the river, the pictures don't do it justice. We stayed in the Lupine suite and we can't say enough about how cute it was and how many amenities it had! You can cook yourself a full breakfast with all the food they supply and it had they let me all the lawn chairs, games, books etc. Bob and Dot were so sweet and helpful, we got in late and they were very accommodating. This stunning location is only about 15 minutes from Soldatna. We even saw the resident moose when we stayed there!

Beautiful views overlooking the river. Absolutely perfect for our anniversary trip with family. This is truly a place you can unwind and enjoy the Alaska scenery; just secluded enough but relatively close to lots of different adventure opportunities. Love the outdoor fire pit in the gazebo. You will not be disappointed! Enjoy the wilderness....
