Gaige House beautiful Asian influence throughout the “House” and grounds. Delicious breakfast available every morning with all the fixings for a mimosa. Outdoor area overlooks the pool and has a firepit for those chilly mornings. They also host a wine and cheese tasting every evening from 4:00 to 5:30. Gaige House King room has A/C and a fan. Good water pressure and jacuzzi tub and cookies available every day. Convenient parking on the premises.|We also scheduled a couple massage while we were there and it was a great start to our day.

Gaige House is incredible! The building itself is beautiful as are the rooms in the outbuildings (we stayed in a suite in a separate building). The staff were welcoming and friendly, as well as very efficient -- we mentioned as we were leaving that the tv wasn't working, and when we came back later that day it had been fixed.||There are terrific amenities available: a free and healthy breakfast in the morning, a wine and cheese hour with delicious snacks every afternoon, wine and sake available all day, outdoor space with a fire, a pool and hot tub (we were there in January so it was a little cool to swim in the mornings and evenings when we were around).||We splurged on a suite, which was amazing. The bathroom had a huge soaking tub and two-person shower, and the room itself was beautiful and comfortable, with a gas fire. We were very pleasantly surprised by a free mini-bottle of sake in the room fridge! Not all the rooms are this luxurious but everything is beautifully put together.

After time with family, we stayed here a few days. Lovely boutique hotel with a pool. The room was nice and modern! Daily breakfast was included as was early evening wine, cheese and crackers. The hotel was a few doors from a couple of really incredible restaurants! ||The wineries were a short drive away. ||I would come back here!

My husband and I stayed here for one night while traveling along the California coast for our one year anniversary. I wish we would have stayed the entire time at Gaige House. The accommodations are expansive, the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Pamela is an absolute gem, she graciously helped us with recommendations along for the remainder of our trip, helped us with a late check out to accommodate our couples massage (which was INCREDIBLE). Our room was stunning - I booked the Creekside zen room. I took two, 2-hour baths. They were so relaxing and quiet. The soap provided smells like a spa and was the perfect scent to breathe in while floating in the tub. The robes were plush and soft. The bed was comfortable, the room was toasty warm with a fireplace. They gave us a complimentary bottle of sake and two macaroon cookies to celebrate our special day, which was so kind and thoughtful! They made us feel like the most important two people there. The wine and cheese hour was 11/10 - we got to socialize with other guests which was so fun!

Overall this is hands down the best hotel experience either of us have ever had. I wish we would have just spent the week here relaxing, drinking wine, port, champagne, and sake, sitting in the bathtub or the hot tub and hanging out with Pam. We will be back and we will be bringing all our friends.

If you are reading this review and considering staying here I hope you do. It was worth every penny and all the staff are so friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful experience. No notes.

We had a truly delightful stay. Each morning started with a warm breakfast, and the friendly staff was always ready to help. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with plenty of cozy spots around the property where you can relax by a fire. We stayed in the Gaige House King room, which had all the amenities we needed. Since it was a bit chilly outside, we especially appreciated the spacious jacuzzi tub in the room. While the room doesn’t have a fireplace, it does offer adjustable heating to keep comfortable in any weather.

The only thing that would have made our stay more memorable was a small acknowledgment of our wedding anniversary, which we noted when booking. Personal touches like that can make all the difference, especially in intimate venues. However, even without that, this place was truly wonderful. If you’re looking for a few days to unwind and lose track of time, Glen Ellen is perfect, and Gaige House is a fantastic choice.

The gaige house was our 2nd stay on our weekend getaway. We arrived just after 8pm and needed to call the after hours staff for late checking. She was courteous and provided details- however once reviewing the information on the map provided the room wasn't clearly marked. I asked which room was mine and she stated she didn't know and being that she had never been to the property so she wasn't able to help me. Another couple coming out from the property heard this and explained the same situation had happened to them as well and they had slept in the wrong room apparently the night before. Apparently they have a new manager and may be working through some things. After hours staff was able to get a manager on the phone to provide clear directions on which room was ours. The room was spacious and beautiful. I appreciated the fresh baked cookies, sake and Madeira options located by the Cafe. We enjoyed the room and breakfast in the morning. The only real disappointment was the check in process and the fact that the hot water isn't able to stay hot enough to fill the 2 person bathtubs as this was one of the reasons we booked this place. I tried the evening and in the morning to see if that would help, but the hot water ran out 1/2 way. We stayed in the gaige suite for reference, and may suggest staying in another suite or inquiring as many others said spoke highly about their hot baths they were able to take while staying there. The property is beautiful and may stay next time in town, but will definitely try another suite

Gaige House is great location. First visit, we absolutely love and enjoy the stay in Sonoma area. The front office lady, Pamela, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay! Truly grateful! She is a super star, make the stay experience more memorable.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Gaige House, which we booked very last minute for our honeymoon (our initial travel plans were upended by hurricanes in fall of 2024). Rachel and Pam at the front desk were extremely accommodating, upgrading us to a larger room and providing tons of helpful recommendations once they learned that we didn't have much planned for our trip since it was so last minute. The room was super comfortable and clean, the pool was so refreshing after a day of wine tasting and exploring Sonoma Valley, and we loved the proximity to downtown Glen Ellen (and lots of other local attractions within 15 minutes driving distance). The daily wine and cheese hour was such a treat, as well as the hot breakfast every morning. I could not recommend Gaige House enough for couples looking for a relaxing, laid back, quiet retreat to Northern CA. We will definitely be back!
