Wow, a hidden gem! I've never had chicken cooked this way and the flavors! The 'hot' was really good and large portions for the price! Smartly decorated with a woman's touch - and service that aims to please. Very nice place for lunch - Looking forward to going back!

My mom and I were craving chicken and Furai Chicken was super close to where we were and decided to eat here. Very impressed with the tastiness of the chicken here!

We ordered the half of Soy Garlic Furai ($16.98) and half of Kang Jung Furai ($17.98). The Kang Jung looked spicy but it was not at all. The crispiness and quality of the chicken were so good, and the sauce was cherry on top. Both dish were served with a couple of largely sliced potato wedges. We also ordered a side of the pickled cucumber salad ($4.99) and it was disappointingly small— I’d skip this.

There were outdoor and indoor seats available. Lots of parking on a Sunday afternoon. The server was nice. However, the downside was that we were the only ones in the restaurant but food didn’t come out for at least 20 minutes.

Overall, this is the spot if you’re craving chicken, but just beware of wait times. Would come back to try out other chicken flavors for sure!

my favorite fried chicken in la habra. The cashier was friendly and attentive. The sauce is the best part. It's super authentic, and the addicting. 100% recommended

Got a fried chicken sandwich. The chicken was very crispy and juicy. The coleslaw was flavored well too. Would recommend.

Best fried chicken EVERRR!!! it beats KFC, Popeyes, Pollo campers, all the way to Buffalo wild wings, wing stop. It's a must. We established that if we ever want fried chicken, this is where we will get it from. I had the #9 fire furai chicken... spicy and sweet with a side of pickled horse radish and pickled jalapeños. I was drinking the juice of the sides. It was soo good. My brother had #7 cang Jung, he said it was good. But he loved the #8 soy garlic.

Please add location to Downey CA 🥺

I ordered a whole chicken which must have been a baby chicken. I literally have never seen whole chicken that small even when companies were using hormones to grow chickens. Nonetheless, it was the light fried chicken. Just okay… nothing special. Sauces that were given were okay but they weren’t great considering they were the best sellers. Potato Wedges were great if you’re ever in the mood for those. I would not personally go back based on the pricing portions and flavor. Maybe I’ll try it one more time but idk.

I think the food is "good," just shy of great.

I ordered the No. 11 - chicken tenders, which were basically the entire breast of the chicken. They were very big, very juicy. However, they weren't as crispy as the onion rings.

I ordered the spicy ranch and the kang Jung sauces. Unfortunately, the sauces were not the greatest. The spicy ranch was indeed spicy, but so spicy that it didn't taste of ranch at all, was just straight spicy. So it lacked any flavor other than hotness.

I didn't like the taste of the Kang Jung sauce. It was like sweet and a little spicy and kind of cinnamon-y. Truthfully, I didn't know what to expect of it, I was just trying a new thing so I have no frame of reference for the flavor profile of this sauce. Next time if I go, I'll try another sauce combo.

Overall, I think this place sits right at 3 stars. My meal was $21 for just the tenders and onion rings, which is a bit much for how the food ended up being.
