We had an excellent weekend at The Foxwood in May 2014! Jack and Betty were perfect hosts to us! The main house is amazing, utilizing 12,000 square feet for dining, a library, sitting room, and multiple bedrooms with private restrooms. The outdoor atmosphere is stunning with great views of the valley!||||Jack and Betty were very friendly, but also respected our privacy and wanting to visit as a family.||||The road to The Foxwood is a ten mile 1 1/2 lane road in the mountains. More than worth it for the views and quietness! Just be sure to take some snacks and dinner if you do not plan to make the drive back down the mountain.||||Breakfast was great both days! Betty is a fantastic cook and Jack was always right there to assist her!||||Great weekend getaway!!!

I had a wedding at Foxwood Inn. The owner, Betty, is the sweetest woman I have ever met. She made sure we were taken care of and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. There were beautiful fresh flowers that had been planted right before our wedding, the pond in the back drop was shocked and ready to go and there were clean towels and the beds were made when we arrived. I would recommend this place to anyone!

My husband and I recently spent an amazing weekend at Foxwood. The house is beautiful, country side breathtaking and the Innkeepers warm and welcoming. There is nothing better than waking up to beautiful view of the mountains and the smell of stuffed French toast cooking. We have been to many B&Bs and this is the first one that made us feel we were coming home. We are looking forward to coming back and visiting!

The drive into foxwood is breath taking and we hoped the service would not disappoint. It didn't!!! The rooms are fantastic and the hosts even better. Betty and Jack are unbelievable, they made us feel right at home. From the home cooked breakfasts to the luxurious beds, the whole place was amazing. My husband and I have stayed at Foxwood 3 times. Every time we go, I love it more. Enchanting get away in the beautiful mountains. The Inn Keepers are wonderful hosts who make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Wonderful food and wonderful atmosphere. I cannot say enough about this marvelous mountain mansion!

From start to finish a fantastic experience- location remote but well worth the visit. House is amazing - each room full of charm and character and all far larger than expected. The hosts Betty and Jack could not be more helpful. Betty serves up a breakfast that saw us through to supper time! An incredible lady who can not do enough to make your stay one of life's must have experience .

The View, The Hospitality, The Inn Keepers, The Rooms ALL deserve 5 stars!!||Betty and Jack were wonderful hosts to my husband and I as we ventured out for a weekend of R&R which included fishing for him and a beautiful serene atmosphere for me, that would include a breathtaking mountain view with a luxurious room to relax in....We both got what we wanted!! My husband fished until his heart was content and I lounged around, enjoying the view, We were also delighted by Betty's wonderful gourmet breakfast ( stuffed French toast) that was the best I ever tasted!, complete with a well orchestrated dining experience with the help of her husband Jack. I really cannot say enough about this place except you need to EXPERIENCE it for yourself, we will definitely come back again and again....

Foxwood was an amazing place for a wedding. If you are looking for complete freedom and peacefulness, it's for you. We basically had the entire complex rented with our friends and family. It was breathtakingly beautiful. We all relaxed and had a wonderful time. The innkeepers are very helpful and easygoing. Our expereince was exceptional and I would highly recommend this destination to anyone for any event.
