Very professional & kind individuals. They also took care of table, chair & serviceware rental. So grateful! I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Plus the food was incredible!!! There was truly no other caterer who could have pulled it off like this. When my (now) wife and I decided to host not a wedding day but a wedding weekend on San Juan Island, when we decided the guests would glamp, when we realized we were planning for NINE meals, two big parties, and 162 acres of over the top event magic, we needed a partner who could bring their A game.

Foodz delivered. Despite logistical challenges, the complete meltdown of the Washington ferry system, and a demanding and complex weekend schedule, the weekend was seamless. Magical even.

The Food: from casual sandwiches to food stations at our wedding garden party, heavy hors d'ouvres to a family style wedding dinner, the food blew our guests away. It was beautifully presented, the flavor was spectacular, and there was not a single miss that I tasted.

The Creativity: Shelby, Davi, and their team didn't just customize our menus, they worked with us to add new menu items that were a part of our story. We served our guests the lamb meatballs from the first meal I ever cooked for my wife, broccoli in a million forms (my wife's favorite food), and the dumplings that nearly ended our relationship before it began (a story that featured in a toast). They worked with us to make every touch thoughtful, were enthusiastic about our ideas, and accepted our feedback and opinions with grace, even when they were a lot. This is the team you want if food is important to you (it was our biggest budget item, and the thing I cared most about).

The Service: Our guests and the Foodz team were on a first name basis by the end of the event. Professional, hard working, delightful to interact with, and they even seemed like they were having fun! When it poured with rain on our wedding day, the staff CAME IN EARLY to make the rain plan happen. They schepped, they got rained on, they poured a million and one drinks, and they still were smiling by the end. Also, our bar man Max made my favorite cocktail (trinidad sours) perfectly, and somehow managed to rustle up a decanter for our red wine. Best. Team. Ever.

We had an awesome experience with Foodz as our wedding caterer! Davi helped us put together a menu that really felt like us, and the food was super tasty—just what we wanted. We loved the private tasting where we went over everything in detail; it made us feel heard and understood. Plus, Foodz took care of all the rentals through CORT, which was a huge help. We worked closely with Anjulie, and she was incredible. Truly went above and beyond for us! Max also helped us create two signature cocktails, and they were a huge hit with our guests! Everyone was raving about the food, drinks, and friendly staff all night. The entire Foodz team provided fantastic service, making everything even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for anything better! Highly recommend!

Foodz was amazing. Shelby, the owner of Foodz, really knows what she is doing. My now husband & I were so worried about a white person designing and planning our Korean-inspired menu, and Shelby really went above and beyond our expectations. Everyone loved the food at our wedding, it was unique, and people even left the dance floor to wait in line for dessert! Monea, the coordinator for Foodz, held my hand throughout the entire year of planning, and was honestly one of the most down-to-earth people I've ever worked with. I'm SO glad we chose Foodz for our catering... it was wonderful and I would work with them again!!!

We had such a great experience working with Foodz Catering for our wedding! I read a ton of reviews in comparing different vendors, and I am very happy that I trusted all the great reviews here. I felt like we were in really good hands, working with folks that truly cared about our wedding day and wanted it to be as amazing as possible. We were so fortunate to have Helen and Shelby for our big day!

The food was phenomenal, and the personalized help in choosing linens and all the rentals for the table decor was exactly what we needed. We wanted to personalize every detail of the day and they helped us to do it in a way that met our budget while being as wonderful as could be.

The creativity of these folks is also unmatched - they helped come up with some really great food ideas for our cocktail reception (Americana inspired) and our dinner (Asian inspired), while not being overdone or tacky. Just good food, prepared uniquely, and personalized to fit our tastes and personalities.

Also, the ice cream bar was AWESOME and people are still raving about it! Thank you, thank you!

*I would note - the ice cream machine should be off during speeches. It got a little loud for folks sitting nearby, I heard. 🙂 Otherwise, absolute perfection!

One of the last bastions of local, small business in Seattle, Foodz Catering supplies an artisan experience for any using their catering service. Staff are friendly and personable and go above and beyond to provide the experience you’re looking for. Food is excellent and far exceeds what’s typical of larger companies. 10 out of 10 times I would pick Foodz for my catered event.

Foodz catering has such an incredible range of cuisine that they do so well. We have been fortunate enough to work with them for years, and while they have always been top notch, we have seen them elevate their menu to a whole new level. Particularly impressed with their vegan options! Being a carnivore, I'm not quick to select them, but if their mushroom wellington is on the menu, you have got to try it! Wonderful customer relationships, a trusted partner in our industry. Shelby is simply amazing!
