Authentic Mexican food, I had the 3 tacos plate with Birria, Asada, and Pastor. The birria was delicious soft not too greasy, the console was flavourful with a hint of spice. The Asada was good can't go wrong with a basic, and not too greasy. The pastor was flavourful and the tortillas were soft. Highly recommend this place.

Fonda Don Cuco has been my family’s favorite Mexican restaurant for almost two years now. I personally drive an hour to Fonda Don Cuco to meet my family for dinner because we love it so much. We have always been treated so well and feel like family to our favorite server, Efie. It has come to my attention that Efie is no longer going to be working here, and this is causing me to start looking for a new restaurant. Efie treats me like family, and without that, makes me less inclined to visit. While I love the food, seeing Efie is what makes my visits meaningful.

Taco Tuesday amazingness! The pastor was fantastic! My daughter absolutely loved the tacos. She was in taco heaven. Also the salsas are remarkable. Most of all the service made us feel like Family!

My wife and I were craving tacos and my daughter wanted a quesadilla so we decided to come here. We were greeted immediately and the decor of the restaurant was very nice. The complimentary chips and salsa were great. I ordered five tacos and I would say the birria and chorizo were the best ones (my wife loved the birria the most as well). I was hoping the al pastor taco would be better as that’s usually my favorite taco. It wasn’t bad by any means. The carne asada taco was like every other carne asada taco I’ve had. The most disappointing one was the shredded chicken. It was recommended to us but I didn’t really care for it. Overall, still really good and I’d come back again. The tacos were big which is always a plus. My daughter loved her quesadilla. Only reason I stopped at 4 stars is they initially forgot our side of beans and rice and we had to ask multiple times for sauce before we got it - normally not a big deal but we were the only ones there at the time. By the time we got it, we were almost finished with our food.

Location: Okay (kinda hidden), Parking: Decent, Service: Above Average, Food for price paid: Taco Tuesday was pretty good, Overall: First time try and the place still seemed new. Wanted to see if they had a Taco Tuesday special, and they did. The tacos were very filling, and the orders of rice and beans were pretty good as well. Will go back and try other dishes. 3.5 Stars...

Staff is awesome!! Food is delicious, it might sound simple but you gotta try their Torta. Add grilled onions and queso freso to their Mexicana Torta! you won’t regret it. Really enjoy this place, will be frequenting often since I live in the neighborhood!! 🥹

I heard about the pop up in Pomona being really good but haven’t tried. When I saw on their instagram that they had a brick and mortar closer to home, I HAD to stop by. When I arrived, we were one of the very few people in the restaurant so we were able to take our time and look through the menu and ask questions. Our waitress let us know they had a taco Tuesday special going on so we ordered tacos. The asada was so tender and juicy. The Al pastor was also very good. I really loved the real guacamole touch and charcoal char both meats had. I also had a dragonfruit agua fresca, made to order. I requested a sample of all their salsas. They can take my taco money every Tuesday. Absolute recommend!!!!

Jan 28, 2025: Older woman at the front desk on morning shift needs to go through customer relations training.
We ordered food with drinks and she packed them in 3 different containers. So, we asked for an extra plastic bag to secure all 3 with soup because it's a handful. She rudely complains and tells us that MOST people can carry them! Then drops the bag on top of the food containers angrily and tells us that there's "TOO MUCH COMPLAINTS!" We told her we asked for 1 measly bag to make sure the food is safe and she was the one complaining. With rude service like that, no customer will be happy. Suggestion? Train her again!
