We can't praise this experience enough. The house was lovely and unigue rebuilt as the original farmhouse was with a wrap around porch. and tastefully decorated. A beautiful peaceful place to stay at the edge of Cambria but within walking distance of shops and restaurants and only 5miles from Hearst Castle. Jan and Jim are perfect hosts, warm friendly and welcoming. Jan's breakfasts are a treat, a culinary surprise each morning, delightful .We always looked forward to the wine and hors d'oeuvres at 5 o'clock and a pleasant chat with fellow guests, always joined ||by one of the hosts We highly recommend this B&B it is one not to miss. My husband and I stayed at Fog's End Bed & Breakfast for 2 nights in early October 2015. The property is absolutely beautiful and very serene. We booked the Starlight room because it has a king size bed, and is quite spacious. We chose Fog's End because of its close proximity to Hearst Castle, but the owners, Jim and Jan Bahringer, were very helpful in pointing out other things to do in and around Cambria, CA. The breakfasts were delicious, and I loved the pot of coffee that was freshly brewed and available an hour before breakfast was served. We would definitely stay again at Fog's End if we find ourselves near Cambria, CA sometime in the future. I highly recommend this lovely bed & breakfast. --Marcie & Fred Fleming

Fog End is a small haven of good taste - in all ways. Delicious breakfast served on fine porcelain, silky bed linen & beautifully decorated spaces. Jan & Jim were the ultimate hosts inviting us to join them for a glass of wine in the late afternoon. We particularly enjoyed our conversations with them & nothing was too much trouble. And of course we can't forget Lily, the 4 legged resident! ||A wonderful stay to complete our month long sojourn to the US. ||Thank you Jan & Jim.

We stayed at Fog's End as part of a 4,500 mile road trip of America and I can safely say it was a pleasure to be there. Jim and Jan are two of the nicest people you could wish to meet, every evening there was a wine and cheese reception where other guests could get to know each other and discuss their days. The breakfasts were first class, the room beautifully maintained with all amenities. Free Wi-Fi is available and if there is something you need just ask the hosts.

This was one of many b/b 's we stayed in on our road trip through California,Arizona and New Mexico and it was one of the best. The hosts Jim and Jan could not do enough for us. When we asked if there was a laundrette nearby she insisted on doing a load of washing for us which was hanging in the wardrobe when we got back. The cheese and wine or hors d'oeuvres each evening was really great, it was a chance to meet other guests and Jim and Jan were there too. Jan is an excellent cook so the breakfast were very good with plenty of fruit and great variety.

I can't express how wonderful this place is. What makes it even better are Jim and Jan. Spent 4 days and 3 nights in the Rose room. The Fog's End is just beautiful. I wanted to get away and relax from my busy life...that is exactly what I got. It's right outside of town, away from the hustle and bustle, but within walking distance. There are only 3 rooms and you just get a more intimate feel to it. Very quite. ||||Jim and Jan really made us feel welcomed. During the wine and cheese hour they both took the time to talk with everyone who was staying there. Sharing their Knowledge about the town and recommending places to eat or to visit. ||||I definitely recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed.

We loved this place & stayed two nights. Hosts were very attentive and personable, the room was really nice, and breakfast was great. It felt like staying at their house which is great if you enjoy personable hospitality rather than anonymous hotels. It is close enough to the East Village of Cambria that it is a 5 min walk, yet far enough that it is really quiet. Great place to stay if you wish to just relax and unwind, which is the reason people often go to Cambria.

Cannot day enough about Fog’s End. I took my wife here for her birthday and it was incredible. Great location right by the ocean. Service was fantastic with a cozy comfy room. Food was 5 star with fresh ingredients made with love. Couldn’t ask for a better time. Trip ended with me locking my keys in the car only to have them call a locksmith who showed in under 5 minutes. We will be back!!
