Gorgeous location on the creek--ask for one of the rooms overlooking the creek. There were also cute balconies with nice creek views and a lovely seating area for guests. A lot of care is put into details, from folded swan towels on your bed to a fortune cookie and treats and tea and coffee available all day. Location right across the street from the Tribute Trail and a very quick walk into downtown's main drag. Breakfast was also tasty--lots of options and cute set-up with old-fashioned tea cups and a variety of options. Priya, the owner, was also very helpful.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Flume's End. Priya’s hospitality truly stands out—her warmth and inviting nature made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Greeted by her genuine smile and kind spirit, it was clear that she takes great pride in every detail. The room offered breathtaking views, adding to the overall charm of the experience. Highly recommend this beautiful getaway for anyone seeking comfort, peace, and exceptional care.

Priya is so welcoming and kind!! Overall such a great host and the accommodations were a joy to experience.

The cute breakfast set up is so over the top in the best way! We loved it 🙂

If you’re looking for a slower pace and a bit of calm with nature just outside town and Broad Street, I highly recommend it here. Town is just a few minutes walk, but it’s just as tempting to kick back with a book at their leg of the creek.

Wonderful. One of our top 5 B&B. Our room had one of the best views of all the B&Bs we have ever visited, with the exception of one. Creek and small waterfall right outside our room with a deck/chairs to enjoy the scenery. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. B&B was only .2 miles from downtown Nevada City and in a very quiet neighborhood.

Stumbled upon Flume’s End when looking for a Nevada City/Grass Valley stay and glad I did. Priya, the owner/operator, was a great host — extremely friendly and responsive. The room was clean and charming. The grounds are pretty and relaxing. Overall a great stay. Highly recommended.

This place is absolutely amazing, it's a beautiful old historic house, with classy decor and fittings. Priya does an amazing job, the breakfast was great, with a ton of food. We were there for our 10th anniversary and paid for the romantic add on, it was well worth the price, can't speak highly enough about Flumes End, in the top 5 places I've stayed in worldwide and I have stayed in a lot in a lot of countries.

Priya knows how to run this bed and breakfast with a sense of pride and world class customer service. My wife and I are always amazed at how she keeps everything so neat and tidy, and continues to fill every square inch of the place with something to look at. You can tell that her heart and soul is put into the building and shes the right person to own it.

She does an amazing job with breakfast in between all the beautiful crystal she has. Its perfect for someone who wants to get some carbs in and go for a hike or go about your day.

Just to be clear with breakfast, there is primarily coffee cake, granola, yogurt, oatmeal, milk, harboiled eggs, english muffins etc. (keep in mind she switches it up) but if your expecting a full on breakfast with bacon and eggs you need to go up the road to Nevada City Cafe.

I reccommend the "Empire/Quartz" Double Suite room. It has a balcony that looks over everything and you can chill back there with a bottle of wine and some charcuterie. On top of that, it has the best overall view of the back yard with the creek and the water Flume (The long bridge looking thing, thats a historical Nevada City monument)

Go down the road to SPD market and get all sorts of Charcuterie items, bring them back to the room and chill the whole night. (You can do that with any room, but we like the double suite)

I highly recommend anyone who wants to plan a great getaway with your spouse or loved one and you dont want to spend an arm and a leg, to stay here. If your going to make reservations you want to book minimum 3 to 4 months in advance. The 5 star reviews speak for themselves, just book it already.

Thank you Priya for all you do!

I could not have picked a better place for us to stay for our first getaway as a couple. We stayed in the Falling Water room and it was so soothing. You feel like you are in little tree house with a river beneath you. The grounds were lovely and it takes just minutes to walk to town. Priya was delightful and welcoming. She provides a terrific breakfast that is served with charming antique china. The attention to detail was so appreciated. This is a charming rare find of a place and I can't wait to go back again.
