First time trying Felix's and just WOW! Amazing flavors, large portions, and fresh! My catfish nuggests were hot and steaming when served. The candied yams were done to perfection. And the macaroni and cheese was creamy and had a great strong cheddar flavor.

Another in my party had the jambalaya with pasta instead of rice. Lots of meat in the dish, they do not skimp!

There are a few tables so you can dine in. It's located in an industrial park so it looks kinda out of place. But trust me, you won't be disappointed!!

First let me say my photos DO NOT DO JUSTICE to the absolutely delicious food at Felix's Creative Flavors Catering so please forgive me...

Felix's Creative Flavors Catering catered our Senior Community's "Chicken & Waffles" brunch. Not only was I impressed by the prompt, courteous & professional service, I was super excited to see biscuits & gravy as part of our brunch! Not only were the chicken and waffles delish but the biscuits & gravy were top notch! I'm from Virginia and trust me when I say this, it was just like home! Fluffy biscuits and the creamy gravy with just enough sausage to flavor it throughout....yummmmm!

A week later I also had the opportunity to eat lunch at their Carlsbad location and I had their chicken cobb salad, among other items. The salad was wonderful with homemade blue cheese dressing, yes! A salad is only as good as its dressing and this dressing was excellent! I was also able to taste my friends fried catfish, WOW it was GOOOOOOOOD! The fried okra was awesome and the greens had a kick to them, something I haven't ever had, but I loved it!

After lunch, I ordered their pulled pork bbq, pinto beans and rice, macaroni and potato salad to go for dinner that evening. The bbq had a rich sauce and was cooked perfectly! The macaroni was creamy and I wanted more for sure! And the pintos & rice had a really depth of flavor to them that I didn't expect. It was ALL delicious and my family loved it!

During lunch I had the privilege to meet the owner. He was friendly and, of course, loves to talk about food :)! He has brought us his version of soul food from all of the places he has lived in the south. He uses unique spices and flavorings and has married them into a blend that is his own and has created something very special!

I would absolutely recommend Felix's Creative Flavors Catering for any event that you want an extensive home cooked menu to choose from and professional quality service too!

Amazing tenders taste, will try classic wings tomorrow sure🙏
Price paid is reasonable and is filling: 6ea pieces for $12
Salsa for wings was little sweat which is the only thing I did not like but ✨✨✨✨✨ for sure

Note that two more locations are available in Oceanside and San Marcos

The Beeeest Southern cooking this side of the Mississippi&I lived in the South for 22+ years. Reminds me of home. Sweet tea, hushpuppies, okra, CATFISH NUGGETS....OMG YUM 😋 😍 😊 😀

Great hope in the wall BBQ. This place is the real deal and they even offer corn bread like some Mexican joints offer chips. It was a really nice touch. I have gotten with racks there and a few other things and I got say all there food is so good. They are in the process of trying to expand, I can't wait to visit then at a much larger location!

Everything I ordered was delicious! It’s been a while since I’ve had really good bbq. This place was reasonable and fast. We ordered 2 lunch orders, portions size was large and it over all after tax was less than $30. I had enough left overs for dinner and lunch the next day.

I just love this establishment, the food is sooooooo....... good. The portions are of good size. If you get the chance to meet the owner and his love and care for all his employees and customers just illuminates in his disposition. Wonderful experience indeed...
