Kim and Tim are such gracious hosts. We felt instantly welcome in their perfect wine country home. The attention to detail and authenticity can’t be beat. Tim’s breakfasts did not disappoint, and my husband is still talking about Kim’s blueberry ricotta pancakes. Overall, our stay and our hosts exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to making the trip an annual (maybe twice a year) occasion. Thank you for a memorable stay!

The Fat Duck Inn was outstanding during our September stay. Tim and Kim were incredible hosts -- friendly and helpful in every way. The inn is big, clean, and well-located. The landscaping is beautiful. And the hosts' made-to-order breakfasts are simply amazing in taste and portion! This is a 5-star slam dunk. We will be back.

This was our sixth stay at the Fat Duck Inn and, once again, we were so impressed with the hospitality of Kim and Tim Gratzer. This visit coincided with my husband's birthday and the Gratzers joined in the festivities by hosting a beautiful party and joining us for a round of golf. |The rooms are well-furnished and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. |Breakfast is ALWAYS a treat as Tim will make your meal to order. BTW, try the breakfast sandwich. Yummmmmm|We can't say enough about how well we have been treated over the years and we highly recommend the Fat Duck Inn to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway in beautiful Walla Walla.

The room was so lovely and more spac than expected. The food was delicious and generous. And, we really liked the location. Close to town and parks, yet private and quiet. It also made a big difference how friendly and immediately helpful both Tim and Kim are; these are everything we want in hosts. We highly recommend staying at The Fat Duck.

I recently stayed for four nights at the inn while visiting my family. Hosts Kim and Tim were exceptionally kind, generous and accommodating. They provided homemade soup and baked goods to take with me for a family member who was ill, just out of kindness. My room was extremely comfortable with every conceivable amenity. Every morning Tim and Kim provided a creative and delicious breakfast sourcing local bakeries and vendors. Kim left afternoon treats of homemade cookies, fruit, and muffins. I cannot wait to come again and get to know more about the community of Walla Walla and spend more time at the inn!

We stayed at the Fat Duck Inn for 3 nights on our first visit to Walla Walla. It was an amazing experience. Kim and Tim are fantastic hosts - so kind and friendly, with all kinds of helpful recommendations for things to do - and no judgment if you can't do it all :-). See attached photo of a Golden Pheasant at the Pioneer Park Aviary (an easy walk from the inn). Breakfasts were also great, and I especially enjoyed Tim's homemade and created "tomato jam". We would highly recommend the Fat Duck Inn for your first (or next) visit to Walla Walla.

My daughter and I stayed here for our annual Mother/ daughter to this year. Tim and Kim made the stay so relaxing and enjoyable. They put so much detail in the entire setting. The minute you walk in the door you feel welcomed and valued. The room: beautiful, the food; incredible, the hosts'; unforgettable. Definitely will be returning!
