The food was very good. Super appetizers (we had avocado “hummus” and chicken mousse, plus “crudites”), juicy chicken. However the prices are outrageous. You pay for bread ($7), and as one extra profiterole was added for the table as we were celebrating a birthday- add $3. Nothing is gifted. Side dishes: add to the already high price.
Plus almost too attentive service, replenishing wine glasses even when not requested, so we could order more!
The decor is nothing to write home about.

Seriously a hidden gem at a suburban mall with fresh farm to table food. We shared several dishes and one was better than the next. The sticky bun and smoked salmon were standouts. There was a farmers market going on right outside the restaurant which fit in perfectly with the theme. Fantastic stop leaving from SF and headed out for wine tasting.

I came here for a private event and the service was top notch. The staff made sure to interact with everyone during the cocktail hour, and they showed the sense of urgency that you want to see when food is being served. I tried the After Ferry #2 cocktail and found it to be extremely refreshing. The food and flavors of everything definitely paired well.

What an amazing experience at this place!
We came on a busy Saturday evening for dinner and got a table for two right away. The place looked cozy and very nice. The server was kind and quick. We got some sodas for drinks and they were so good. For food we got the Caramilized Meyer Lemon pizza and it was outstanding. We also got the New York steak and every part of the plate was absolutely delicious. You could really taste quality in each dish. And every dish is so unique and fun. Not another basic restaurant for sure. Every person working there was smiling and genuine. Would come here again 100% and recommend to everyone.

I was by myself at the bar for a late meal, waited a while but the service once it got there was decent. The steak was cooked well, the Brussels sprouts were labeled as “crispy” but were soggy when they got to me, plus I paid an extra 4% for a small business surcharge that the restaurant should put toward an exterminator since I had enough time to video a mouse in the restaurant

We were visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this true treasure! The atmosphere was elegant, yet relaxed. The food was spectacular! The best fresh pasta I’ve ever had. Strongly urge you to try the Mount Shasta Morel Mushroom pasta!! And the service was positively exceptional! Our server Courtney eloquently described everything on the menu. He also had an incredible personality and genuine warmth and kindness. Overall, I couldn’t give a higher recommendation to anyone visiting Marin.

Ambiance. We visited on a Saturday night. The bar and restaurant were busy. One of the downsides of that is that the restaurant has hard ceilings so sound echos and the place is extremely noisy.

Bar service. Drinks run $18 for a mixed cocktail, which by any measure is outrageous for a suburban shopping center restaurant. A glass of mediocre wine is $16-20, and not a particularly large glass at that. Beer is $10 for a a ‘pint’ which appeared to be about 4oz short of a pint.

Food. Food was adequate but not exceptional. Other than the pizza, portions were small. I had a lamb entree, taste and seasoning was good but the portion was more like an appetizer. One of our group had the angry crab. Again taste was ok but portion was small for the price. Pizza had a soggy crust, ingredients were fresh but they seemed to forget how much water comes out of tomatoes when cooked.
They don’t even provide bread for the table unless you buy it. The hitch is they charge more for a few pieces of bread than the cost of a full loaf of artisan bread.

Service. Service was the strongest point of the restaurant. Servers were attentive without being intrusive.

Summary: this restaurant seems to depend on its “vibe” but food is average quality and sub average quantity. I walked out feeling a ripped off. There are far better choices even in the area.
