This was by far the best B&B experience we’ve had. The rooms immaculate, the home charming and welcoming, but above all the owners, Ute and Conrad, are awesome hosts and wonderful company. This is a working sanctuary farm, so come prepared to explore it with Ute and meet the joyful residents of the property. Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty and sturdy shoes and you’ll get the most out of the visit. If you’re more of an indoor type, the common areas are delightful and incredibly comfortable place to snuggle up and do some reading or make new friends. The food is homemade and utterly delicious. This is just off the Natchez Trail, and very accessible from the main road.

This is my second stay at Farmhouse Sanctuary, this time for three nights. While many of their guests are bike riders coming off the Natchez Trace, I was there to see a friend who lives less than a mile away on County Road 5.|Just like my first stay in June 2021, I was extremely impressed . The farmhouse itself is beautiful and decorated as such. The wood used inside is gorgeous and the furnishing make guests feel very welcome. The owners, Conrad and Ute, are so accommodating to guests.| My first night, there was another guest who was biking the Trace. He had not had any dinner and since it's miles to the nearest restaurant, Ute made him a big cheeseburger. She didn't have to do that. Conrad does most the cooking and bakes fresh bread for breakfast, which is delicious.|The rooms are extremely comfortable, nicely decorated and have private bathrooms.|The Farmhouse is also a working animal rescue farm. Ute and Conrad are very proud of their sanctuary and will give tours to guests..|Even if you're not riding The Trace and just visiting the Florence area , I highly recommend The Farmhouse Sanctuary as a quiet and beautiful place to stay. Having Conrad and Ute as host just put the exclamation point to both my stays.

The entire house is a B&B. The house, property and experience was wonderful. Conrad and Ute are great people that not only offer a bed and breakfast, but a tour of the farm during feeding time. There is a wood shop on site and many beautiful items built and put in the B&B. The breakfast is great. We also bought dinner each night that was delicious.

This beautiful B & B deserves 5+ stars and more! I chose Farmhouse Sanctuary for its lovely location and reasonable distance from our home, but we received so much more. Ute and Conrad were the most gracious hosts and the house is beautifully decorated while being very comfortable and relaxing. You can even see the Natchez Trace from the front yard! Ute took us on a tour of the farm to meet the animals, and it was wonderful! She truly loves them. Conrad fixed us the most delicious breakfasts, and his homemade pizza was absolutely the best! I am so glad I found the Farmhouse Sanctuary, and we will return to visit our friends!

What an amazing experience that Is so different from your traditional hotel stay. Plus, when you stay here you help a small business/farm instead of a large chain. I planned a weekend trip here for my wife and I and it was nothing short of exceptional. The communication was great, we arrived later than expected and they kindly waited up for us. Upon walking into their B&B it was obvious attention to detail was given, not just our room but the whole house. Breakfast is extra, and I feel should be included. But it's fresh from the farm and the kitchen. We really liked the little coffee/tea area, and thought it was great they used a Berkey water filter system for us to drink from. We did the farm tour, which I got to help with aside from feeding, which I honestly wish I could've helped more. All the animals were so sweet and you could tell Ute had a special bond with all of them. We did the Bees which was sooo intimidating at first, but I quickly realized they had no intentions of harming us. We also made the pizzas, which were really good. Then we did the fractal wood burning, which turned out great and was a neat experience. No alcohol is allowed on the premises, so we made a short trip into town to a bar to have a few drinks after we checked out the Wichahpi wall, the longest unmortared wall in the United states. We will definitely be back for a longer stay to enjoy some of the longer classes like wood working, bread making etc.

Conrad and Ute were so sweet and made sure that anything we needed was available. The rooms were clean and so very comfortable. You really believe you are visiting friends not a paid accommodations. The breakfast was the very best. The home made bread was out of this world. The animals are so sweet and friendly. I can't wait to visit again.

I spent two nights there while visiting a friend, who lives a mile away on County Road 5.||Conrad and Ute were gracious hosts. They really enjoy and our proud of what have done restoring this old farmhouse and the caring for the animals on the farm, and they show it.|| The country atmosphere was very refreshing. The custom woodworking in the house was absolutely gorgeous and Conrad's breakfasts delicious. I only wish I had time to look at the farm itself, but I was there to spend time a good friend. || I normally don't sleep well the first night in a strange place, But not here. Best two night's sleep I've had while travelling in a long time. Though it's not in town , it's well worth the drive north of Florence to stay here.
