We were very disappointed. By the waitresses own admission, much of the food is canned or prepacked and cannot be adjusted for your tastes. The portion sizes are very small and we left hungry.

Great little restaurant in Benson. We arrived on Saturday morning and were seated right away. Only one server was working, so it took a little time as the restaurant got busier.
Standard home cooked breakfast options. What surprised us most was the fresh squeezed orange juice served in frosted mugs. So amazing!
Omelettes were smaller than I expected but still a good size and delicious. The fruit salad totally stood out with so many kinds of fruit, way better than the standard melons and grapes.
Our server was kind and totally understood gluten free. The kitchen was good about being careful. But they don't have any GF bread/toast or anything. Bummer.

stopped for breakfast, service was fast and friendly. food was excellent and reminded you of Grandma's homecooked meals. definitely will be adding this to our list of places to stop and eat along I-10

Cute little place, service was good. Very attentive, super friendly waitress. The food was a huge let down. I got the handmade country fried steak. It was just a basic premade super thin steak, kinda mushy. The gravy was the most bland white gravy I've ever had and the biscuits were weird in texture and flavorless. The portions were so small, that afterwards I ordered a couple pancakes because they looked good. The pancake itself was fluffy and good but the syrup they gave me was about the worst I've ever had. Almost like it was sugar free and didn't have much of a flavor.

Food was all made in house! Served hot with great waitress. Would highly recommend if you ate looking for that old style diner quality food and service. I had country fried beef steak and eggs with home fries and eggs & my wife had the green Chile Verde omelette with home fries & would recommend both!

I have to say the best thing about the whole experience was the atmosphere. Small town feel cozy where everyone knew everyone. Food was definitely not the high point. Flavorless, canned chicken in the chicken wrap, omelet small very plain, pancakes were ok at best. Tables were small not alot of room to nice around. Fresh bakery items did look good however. Cute little place but needs a better cook.

Highly recommend this place. The food is fresh, the flavors are delicious and it gives you a small hometown feel. I ordered the eggs benedict and my 13 yo ordered the cinnamon swirl French toast with sausage and eggs- we both completely cleared our plates. The waitresses are clearly overwhelmed which causes them to come off as rude and dismissive but you'll also have moments with them where they connect and are welcoming.
