We completely fell in LOVE with Farmer's Guest House! The inn keepers (Mark, Luke, and Elaine) are the most wonderful people. They obviously love what they are doing, and made us feel so special while we were staying there. The room was cute and comfortable (as well as being spotless). And can we talk about the breakfast! OMG! It was spectacular. My spouse is a vegan, and they took such great care to make sure she didn't feel left out, and had meals that were just as delicious as mine! I would whole heartedly recommend Farmer's Guest House! We will definitely be staying there again next time we are in Galena!

Luke, Elaine, and Mark were excellent hosts. They worked very hard to make our stay a great one. Breakfast was amazing to say the least. We stayed in the Julia room and enjoyed everything about the room. ||The purpose of our trip was to just get away, relax and enjoy everything Galena has to offer. The weekend was great and we look forward to going back.

Great place to stay while in Galena! Within walking distance of the old downtown. Breakfast was fantastic and makes me want to go back. The young couple running the place are friendly and care that you are having a great experience. They deliver wine and crackers to your room each afternoon and even fresh backed cookies. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Look forward to back this year. Highly recommend this place!

This was our first time in Galena and first time at a B&B. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the innkeepers- Luke, Elaine, and Mark. They were all so welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. The breakfast was the most delicious breakfast that I’ve ever had. And Elaine’s cookies are to die for. We cannot wait to come back and stay in another one of their rooms. Thank you for your hospitality!

If you are going to Galena, the Farmers Guest House is the place to stay! From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed with such friendliness. Mark took our bags upstairs to our room while Luke checked us in. Elaine then showed us around and told us how breakfast and the wine and cheese were served. Our room had everything we could have needed and we had two great nights sleeping in the comfortable bed. Anything that we could want was supplied in the room. Breakfast both days was delicious and Elaine kindly shared her recipe for baked eggs with us! We spent both days exploring beautiful and historic Galena and then walked home to a delightful wine and cheese spread that also included some extra treats. Mark, Elaine and Luke are so personable and a delight to talk to! We look forward to returning to the Farmers Guest House!

Absolutely lovely experience. The level of customer attention was impressive - they prepared dairy free items for me as it was a dietary restriction communicated when booking. 5 star customer service. Each breakfast item was delicious - especially the banana bread. Room very cozy (Charlotte). Great location. Highly recommend.

My husband & I stayed here for our anniversary weekend, and I was so pleased with my choice of B & B. We were greeted enthusiastically by Luke, who met us at the door and brought our bags upstairs as we checked in. Elaine and Mark were very friendly, and Elaine gave us great information on how to get to the downtown area and where to park if the public lot across the street got full. Loved the thoughtful details like wine time and the cheese and cracker assortment that was left for us. We really enjoyed that! The chocolate chip cookies were amazing too. We regret not asking for some for the ride home LOL Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very attentive to anything we wanted or needed. Most importantly, every corner of every room was so immaculately clean. I would recommend to anyone going to visit Galena.
