A nice casual cafe.
I'm up helping a friend and saw it. I was seated and served promptly. I ordered biscuits and gravy. It was good and I couldn't eat it all.
The staff was friendly and efficient.
I'll be back on the way north tomorrow.

Generous portions. Hashbrowns fried on BOTH sides - yay! Very very clean. Staff are quick, friendly, attentive - 5 stars was easy there. Breakfast served all day!

4 stars for food because I've had better tasting pancakes. 3 for atmosphere because it's pretty average - nothing wrong with it.

"Tell the chef: This is some real low-grade dog food!" - Rodney Dangerfield
It's unfortunate that such a highly reviewed establishment has food that's so bland, I won't take it home for my dog. A friend recommended this place, and since I was in the area decided to try it out. It's been over an hour since I ate there, and I'm still trying to get the cooking oil off my lips and tongue. They use no seasoning, and even salt and pepper couldn't spice up the dish they made.
Our waitress was fun, but that's the only good thing about this place. Our little group couldn't even finish half of the bland food, so we kindly let the waitress know it wasn't up to par. She said that she'd see what could be done. Instead of remaking our food, or discounting the meal, they removed the drinks from our ticket which was fairly insulting.
Do yourself, AND your wallet, a favor and skip this establishment. Unless, of course, you like to overpay for bland food.

Food is delicious and high quality! For their burgers they have the option of including gluten-free buns, which I love! Service can sometimes be a bit slow but the waiters and waitresses are super nice and welcoming to customers, I've never seen a single waiter or waitress without a smile on their faces every time I have been here.

I'm a very picky eater. This place has great food. I love the biscuits and gravy! Onion rings and garlic fries are out of this world! Burgers are good but could use better meat or something. The lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle the burger or sandwich comes with is fresh and crisp, always. Service is great. They are kind and helpful. Atmosphere is always warm and cozy feeling. Farmers Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants that I keep coming back to. The food is a little on the spendy side but compared to other places it's not bad.

I'm editing this post because I just had a burger again today and I swear it's different cuz it was perfect! Delicious! I don't know if you did anything but it was a great burger! Thanks everyone! Great service too! 🫶

Wow, we had the best breakfast. My sister met a friend she hadn't seen in years. The service was just great, the food was amazing. Thanks Rachel for the 5 star service. Always filling our coffee. Thanks again. For the amazing breakfast.

We arrived and were seated right away with menus and silverware. It was downhill from there. We sat there for at least 5min before anyone acknowledged our existence. While we sat waiting we did get to watch two employees talk and enjoy their food by the drink dispenser. Unbeknownst to us our soon to be waitress stood in front of eating and drinking like we were ghosts. She finally acknowledged us and took our drink order. The "bar" area apparently doubles as the employees break room as two more employees were casually eating at the bar, actually licking their fingers and then not washing!! Gross! Overall the atmosphere was very uninviting. It's like the entire staff was waking around with a hangover or something. Also, There must have been a gravy shortage. My meal included the word gravel in the title but barely any on the food. I have lived in Stanwood for decades. This has been my experience on the last two visits to Farmers. I wouldn't recommend it.

I had a wonderful experience at Farmer’s Cafe! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the brunch and breakfast 🍳 specials were delicious. I especially enjoyed the pancakes 🥞 , which were fluffy and flavorful. I highly recommend this cafe for anyone looking for a great meal in a welcoming environment.
