I had an amazing stay at Family Laundry! The house is beautiful and impeccable. Very peaceful environment, perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was spending time with the lovely frenchies—they were so friendly and added a special charm to the experience.

The landlord was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Her hospitality was exceptional, and the delicious breakfast each morning was a wonderful treat! I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a cozy, nature-filled retreat with great company. I would definitely love to return!

We stayed at the Family Laundry for 12 nights to meet our new grandson, and could not have had a better welcome, host, and location! Barbara Brasil has a lovely home in the heart of midtown Sacramento, walking distance to dozens of great restaurants, museums, and the Capitol with its beautiful grounds and building. We loved our room and bath, the delicious breakfasts, and the chance to have deep conversations on dozens of topics with Barbara. As somewhat older travelers, Barbara provided us with support well beyond anything we might have been offered at any other BnB or hotel. We will absolutely stay with her, if she has room, on our future trips to Sacramento.

Family Laundry is such a delight! It hits all the high points, with absolute excellence: comfortable, clean, quiet, conveniently located, with delicious food and an engaging, personable host. Even though it's within a few blocks of a highway on/off ramp, it's still very quiet! Our host, Barbara, gave us an amazing array of food for breakfast and snacks--even something for the trip home. The mattress and sheets were just right, and the bath towels soft and fluffy. I wish we'd been there on a Thursday for movie night, or earlier in the year for the "puppy family reunion." If you appreciate dogs, you can meet the canine welcoming committee (do wear sturdy fabrics, in case their greetings are especially exuberant). But that's optional: the dogs don't go upstairs to the guest rooms, and they can stay in their own sunroom if you don't want to interact.|I highly recommend this B & B, and hope to return someday!

We were visiting family but decided to find accommodations instead of being jammed into the kids room on sleeping bags and ran across Family Laundry.||Great location (freeway access is minutes away) but we were never bothered by any road noise at all. The common areas and rooms are well decorated and really comfortable - easily among the top five b&b/inns we've ever stayed in.|The breakfasts were interesting & delicious and the host just wonderful. We ended up dallying over coffee with them for an hour or more every day.||There are multiple dogs but you're given the option of a completely dog-free or dog-assisted stay, we opted for lots of dogs. They're very well mannered and sweet!||Anytime we're in Sacramento we'll be staying here.

I’ve just had the most amazing experience. Went for a weekend getaway to enjoy Asha spa and found this place. The room was unbelievably cute, everything was so clean and nice. The location is very good near to highway and near to the spa. Good restaurants in a walking distance. And the most important thing the host is the best host ever with the most amazing friendly dogs. I’ve spent all my free time patting the dogs and fell so happy about it. At the morning I had a really nice breakfast and went home happy and relaxed. Really recommend this place!

Start with the best. Hands down it’s the Innkeeper, Barbara. Warm and bright and refreshingly human, she could make a lessor place worthwhile, but here, it all works. You feel more like you are visiting a friend, in comfortable, tasteful surrounds.

From making my booking until I ended my stay nothing was too much bother for Barbara the owner. She really is the most warm welcoming land lady with 4-5 very loving dogs. The bedroom & en suite truly was wonderful. Food was exceptional freshly prepared as I came down for breakfast. So much attention paid to detail & the incredible extras. I’ll definitely go back.

Visited here for a weekend getaway. The host was very friendly and the room was nicely decorated and there were some thoughtful touches included - energy bars, water etc. The listing had a TV and BluRay in room, unfortunately this was not the case - they were in the shared living space. Additionally at night (It was a very hot weekend) the AC didn't seem to be able to keep up and there was no ability to control in the room.
