Came in from Northern VA for a baseball tournament and this restaurant took our entire team last minute with NO notice! They hustled every minute, beyond kind & patient, clean and the food was not only excellent, but the presentation was beautiful!! Great price and awesome atmosphere too!! Thank you all so so much for having us. Stars Miller

The lobster mac and cheese is absolutely delicious! And a large enough portion for leftovers. This place is definitely a hidden gem given its location right next to a gas station. 100% will come back!

As soon as we arrived, the hostess/waitress was short with an attitude. The food took approximately 2 hours to arrive to our table. Ordered a specific burger with the waigyu patty upgrade. When the food arrived to the table, I had a question regarding if the burger was correct due to missing ingredients (bacon missing). The waitress was no where to be found. I had to grab another waitress to get my waitress. When our waitress came, she was extremely rude and confrontational about the entire situation.

The manager came to save face and trying to act like the situation never occurred. Manager offered discounts for next visit but did not rectify the current situation. The original waitress never came back to serve or take our payments. Manager completed everything else.

The food was good do not get me wrong. But I would not recommend this restaurant because of terrible service and rude attitudes.

We stopped by Fairways Bar & Grill in Teays Valley around 3pm Saturday and the place was dead. When we arrived there wasn’t a soul in sight and we waited for several minutes before the someone appeared from the back. There was only 1 person tending the bar and the dining room. We were the only customers until the end of our meal when we asked for to-go containers. Our waitress was nice, but service was super slow despite being the only ones there. We ordered the hot cheese bites, spicy chicken and chicken gyro sandwiches. Food was good but needed more sauce to make it excellent. My gyro barley had any tzatziki. Chicken looked burnt but wasn’t, and was cooked perfectly. We ended up taking the extra sauce to go because it took so long to get it we’d already dealt with the meals as they came. They also have just about every cheesecake flavor Cheesecake Factory offers. They also only have high tops. Food and wine menus are both extensive with a slight Mediterranean influence. We will try again, because the food itself was good. We’ll know to ask for extras when we place the order though. If you go expect to be super patient.

I have found my new favorite restaurant in Teays Valley. The restaurant shares a building with the gas station. The restaurant is clean and well lit. The staff are extremely friendly. I spoke with the owner, who is there every day. He told me he could accommodate any dietary restrictions I had. The penne with vodka sauce is the best I have had anywhere. He uses real vodka. The shrimp he uses is huge and actually deveined. The flavor is outstanding. I would eat here every day if I could afford it. They also serve boars head meats/sandwiches and cheesecake factory cheesecake. I will say, they often forget plastic utensils and it would be nice if they put a liner in the Styrofoam containers. The garlic bread is frozen.

Absolutely Phenomenal! I travel all over and consider myself a foodie so when I tell you its good, its good! Lol. Biggest thing is, do not let the fact that it is attached to a gas station deter you. Everything about the place is awesome. Our server was superb and the owner was super cool. Very passionate about his food and you can literally taste it. The filet mingnon was incredible, I litetally could cut it with the back of my knife!! I cant wait to go back!

My partner and I ate here for the first time on Saturday. He ordered a bacon cheeseburger with loaded fries for his side and I ordered the ravioli with braised spinach. For an appetizer, we had spicy cheese bites which were great and for dessert, we had the triple vanilla cheesecake which was also phenomenal. We were super impressed! So impressed that we decided to get food from there again today. His food was excellent (he ordered the same thing for his meal) and I decided to try the Buffalo chicken flatbread. The sauce is super good and I think it is decent size for the price. I was slightly disappointed taking a bite into the third piece and getting a mouthful of gristle from the chicken, but I continued eating my flatbread. After eating a couple more pieces, I saw another had a large piece of fat on it. This was probably just a fluke and I will definitely be back, but I will most likely not be ordering another flatbread with chicken on it again. The cheesecake, however, was a 30th anniversary edition and it was much better than the triple vanilla we ordered Saturday (which I loved the triple vanilla). We will definitely be back, but I will try something different. I did think it was super neat seeing there is also a coffee shop that I did not notice the other day, and they offer very unique flavors (banana, pistachio, etc.)
