The hotel had a nice vibe for the area. The rooms were small but comfortable. Beds and linens were crisp and comfy. The restaurant was not available every night. I had to pay for coffee. Complimentary sparkling wine was a nice touch. Spa treatments were very expensive. Good location t visit wineries. Very friendly staff.

Incredible service from start to finish. We have been to this place many times and have always received excellent service from the bellman to housekeeping services. I'd like to acknowledge several who went above and beyond: Craig at valet, Dennis, Susy, Deb and Lynne in the restaurant and bar. All excellent. Thank you for making our stay the best|The games in the lobby are so fun, but hope next time I can play with all the scrabble pieces!

Really appreciated the complimentary cabana for our group! Everyone could not have been nicer. Loved the Therapist. She was extremely nice. However, the massage was not very good. There was hardly any massaging going on. It was more like meditation and gentle stretching. That was disappointing. But, the waters, steam and sauna were wonderful

All the hotel and restaurant staff are very well trained, friendly and cheerful, which provides a great customer experience. The restaurants could use more vegan options, esp as they are making efforts towards sustainability in other areas, but the chef accommodated our vegan breakfast by substituting tofu for egg. Very dog friendly, nice grounds to walk around. Our room had some minor maintenance issues. House keeping was a bit sporadic, perhaps understaffed. Spa was great, enjoyed the geothermal pools, cold bucket and steam room. Perfect for a quick getaway.

This hotel is so full of history! I think it’s the perfect place for anyone who can appreciate the beauty that comes with age. Even though it’s nearly 100 years old, it’s been so well-maintained and has this amazing historical charm. I loved how cozy, peaceful, and timeless the atmosphere felt.

Oliver at the front desk was so friendly and warm, which made the experience even better.

When i walked in, there was this faint scent of wood burning from the fireplace, and the wooden chessboard and comfortable chairs in the lobby gave the place such a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The champagne we got during check-in was full of flavor and absolutely delicious, and during the afternoon wine hour, I found the best Chardonnay I’ve ever tasted.

Soaking in the healing waters, which were once considered sacred by the native people, while feeling the contrast of the cool air and warm water was such a special and enjoyable experience.

Overall, this hotel is intimate, elegant, and full of history—it’s a place I’ll always cherish and remember.

I had such a great time staying at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa! The staff was so welcoming and made everything super easy and comfortable for me. The rooms were spotless, a really nice size, and the beds were super comfy.
The highlight of my trip was definitely the spa—I spent an entire day there, and it was absolutely amazing.
Everything about my stay was wonderful. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

We are loyal customers and will visit once or twice a year for a gateway vacation. This is the service quality, which is still good as usual. However, at the same price, there is no set of candles, scrubs, bath bombs, etc., that comes with the jacuzzi. Also, if you have a fur baby, there is no treat, and a ball comes with it anymore. It only has a plush dogbone shape. It's a little disappointing in terms of what you got vs what you paid. But, of course, the service quality, the vibe, and clearness still maintained the sound quality as usual

My wife booked this hotel and wanted something that was unique and luxurious, and we got both. I love the small town feel and sleepiness of Sonoma vs Napa. Very relaxing environment at this hotel. Still great places to eat around the hotel, the staff was great to suggest local spots. My wife and i had Spa treatments which were phenomenal. Great experience for my wife and I as a relaxing quiet get away
