I have more negatives than positives.. the only positive I found was beautiful views of the sunsets and sunrises.
Negatives:
*Constant noise. Interstate traffic, sirens and demolition/construction on the hotel.
* there's no office, you just have to call until they answer or decide to get back to you.
*just ignorant. Tried to put us in two different spots that we wouldn't fit in when arriving.
* very steep inclines just to enter the campground, switch backs and tight turns.
*wifi was so unreliable we got starlink just so we could have internet.
*spaces are on top of each other, maybe 3 feet of grass between spots.
*parking is a joke if all (gravel and paved) spots are full. Barely enough room to park a vehicle in front of your camper.
*extremely overpriced. Water, electric, sewer hookups and mediocre internet doesn't justify almost $700 a month.

Campground is pretty tight for big rigs. On top of a hill right off the expressway. Some sites are asphalt , some are gravel. Site selection is first come, first served, so we didn’t have a lot to select from. It is pretty much for over night stops, but there are several longer term campers there, mostly on the bigger and better sites. Sites are very tight together, only a few feet between sites.
Overall, great location, our site was ok, no problems. Just tight.
Probably will not use again due to how tight everything is, but again not horrible.

This place is a DUMP! I don't know where they think they have 55' feet of parking space anywhere! You would be lucky to get anything level at all, even if you could get in. Spots are right on top of each other. I called and left a message to try and make a reservation with no return call. We have a 45' motorhome and we barely got up the steep hill to just check it out. There is an run down hotel at the bottom of the hill stacked with garbage too. If you have a nice RV, this is NOT where you want to stay.

Has a good...overnight location. Sites are backing in and NARROW, did I say narrow and backing into...by EXPERIENCED campers ONLY!!
NO FRILLS AND ESSENTIALS ONLY.
Miss. Dolly charged a respectable rate and took payment over the phone with a follow-up email to verify payment. BUT unless we knew ahead of time by reading the reviews, we wouldn't have known you pick your own site and it's a very 'narrowing' experience.
Incidentally, the entrance is right across from The General quick stop/fuel station. We put in the GPS address and it took us almost 2 miles...into 'the bends' up one side and around the other. If you go more than 1/4 mile off I-79, you have missed the entrance to Fairmont Hills RV Park, at the top of a hill!
Very adequate for a SEASONED camper with excellent back up parking experience in narrow, unforgiving, paved sites...12' wide, plenty deep, newish fixtures and neighbors 15' on either side. Again, no amenities but some sites have nice hillside/ mountain views 😉 Thanx, Dolly, by George!

It's a new place so a work in progress. The same people own the hotel midway up the hill, the RV park higher up, and the storage units at the top. There's like 50 or so places for RVs and room for vehicles either in front or beside those spots. Rv hookups included in price. Affordable and long term parking available. There are picnic areas and wonderful views. The catch is that it's as I said a work in progress. There are no amenities yet. I can only speculate that they will add them into the hotel. Also with the hotel under construction there is no office, therefore there are no office hours. Everything is done over the phone and email. Hopefully public showers, a laundromat, po boxes for long term residents, and an office will be available in the near future.

Very disappointed. The camp ground is a joke. Made reservation for a 43ft toy hauler trailer but would be pushing it to get a 25ft trailer in the park. Would not recommend this park to anyone! Very poorly laid out and very small! The only good thing that came out of this whole ordeal is we were told we would receive a refund but waiting to see if that actually happens or not! Don't waste your time or money with the RV park!! Nothing to do and so small I didn't even have a place for my poor dog to go to the bathroom!!! Looks absolutely NOTHING like the pictures either!

The RV park is very nice. It's on a hill with great views of Fairmont WV. Full simple hook ups with Wi-Fi. Close to the freeway and only minutes from beautiful riverfront and other parks. Service is both friendly and professional. I highly recommend this park.

What RV Park cancels your paid deposit reservation 10 days before and it is during a 3 day holiday weekend. Try finding another park with openings. I booked in February for May and got booted for a walk in that wasn't leaving in time. Not good business practice at all!

Update: it has been over a month since they canceled my reservation and still have not received my $41.10.
