The staff here are excellent and very professional and friendly. You are always greeted a smile and they will help in any way they can. Very clean lobby, complimentary breakfast. Pool is not heated during the winter but the whirlpool outside is. Fitness room has a few pieces of equipment, open 24:7. The rooms are a bit dated and simple, but very typical for this Marriott class of hotel. The rates are extremely competitive and always lower than nearby properties, so there is a good trade off there. The property is well maintained, just a bit showing its age. I stay at this location because the staff is so nice and the property is clean. Excellent value for a Marriott and of course you get points. Just one star less for the rooms, only because the furniture is a bit dated. The rooms are always clean. Also, just a block off of the 15 freeway makes the location wonderful.

We tend to use Marriott all the time but this is the first time I regret using it.

I requested a higher room but got ground level, not a huge deal but the window to the room was also broken. The room has a lingering smell of the pool even though we were not near the pool and the accommodations reminded me of the early 2000s. Also needed to unplug the fridge to sleep as the compressor sounded like it was ready to die

On a positive note the staff were very polite. But regardless we were unable to cancel our stay.

Unacceptable Rudeness and Lack of Hospitality – Avoid This Hotel

Our experience at the Fairfield Inn was absolutely terrible, all due to the unprofessional and rude behavior of the staff. From check-in to check-out, we were met with hostility and zero hospitality.

We arrived late at night, and my girlfriend went to check us in while I handled the luggage. A few minutes later, she came back visibly upset, saying the front desk clerk — who, to the best of my knowledge, is named Freddy — refused to check us in because we didn’t have a printed family discount form. He rudely told her to ā€œfind somewhere else to print it or find another place to stay.ā€ No options were provided for assistance. When she asked if the hotel could help print it, he dismissively told her, ā€œIt’s your responsibility, not mine.ā€

When I stepped in to try and resolve the situation, I found the same rude attitude. Instead of offering help, Freddy pointed us to an outdated computer that didn’t even work — something he could’ve mentioned to her earlier instead of essentially kicking her out. After struggling to find a solution on our own, I managed to fax the form. When I told Freddy, his response was to roll his eyes and act annoyed, as if we’d inconvenienced him personally. He even claimed to have canceled our reservation due to the missing form, which turned out to be a lie, as he eventually checked us in under the same reservation after wasting over an hour of our time. His lack of professionalism and outright hostility brought my girlfriend to tears.

When we finally got to our room, it was a disaster. The bed was unmade, the TV was on, there was trash in the bathroom, and no towels — it was as though someone had been using the room just before we arrived. Given how long it took to ā€œprepareā€ the room, it felt like another example of the staff’s incompetence.

The next morning, we hoped for better treatment. Instead, we were greeted by Hope, the front desk manager. When I calmly mentioned our experience the previous night and suggested they take a more helpful and professional approach in the future, she became defensive and argumentative, raising her voice and blaming us for the entire situation. Her attitude was shocking for someone in a managerial position.

I’ve stayed at many hotels with family discounts and have never encountered an issue like this. Most hotels allow you to email the form or will gladly help you print it if needed. The staff here, however, seemed determined to make our stay as unpleasant as possible.

This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had. The staff is rude, unhelpful, and completely lacking in basic hospitality. I strongly urge anyone considering this hotel to stay elsewhere. You’ll save yourself the stress and frustration.

This property needs a complete renovation. I was checked into a room where the bathroom had not been efficiently cleaned, with hair on the floor and in the sink. The floorboards in the room were broken and coming up. The curtains did not close, so at night, anyone in the parking lot or surrounding buildings could see right in thru the sheer curtain. The evening front desk agent was friendly and personable, but the morning agent was curt and rude. The breakfast left much to be desired, with the eggs and sausage severely undercooked. Very disappointing stay.

My stay at this hotel was deeply disappointing, primarily because of the treatment I received during check-in.

I politely asked for assistance with a question regarding my booking, but instead of helping, the person at the front desk responded with hostility and refused to provide any guidance. Their behavior was so unkind and harsh.

At no point during this interaction was I rude or unreasonable. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect, especially when they’re paying for a service. Unfortunately, this hotel failed in that regard.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to warn others. No guest should be made to feel this way.

I stayed in room number 135 and informed the receptionist in the morning that I found bedbugs and that for me and my son were bitten and even showed her the bites she asked me if she can check my room immediately while we’re having breakfast and I told her yes and go ahead. He came back five minutes later and informed me that both her and the hotel manager and the maintenance have all checked in and found nothing.
She said they saw no traces of bedbugs or bedbugs. I asked her if they can spray the door or do some kind of remediation
She said since they didn’t see anything they’re not gonna remediate or do anything so I’d stay away from you 135 on the first floor as it has been Bugs problem that has not been fixed

Outdated facility. There was a sewer smell coming from our bathroom and dead flies in our shower. Mystery stains on curtain and bed skirt. Gym equipment was very old and elliptical machine not working at all. Doors slamming heard all night long. Thank goodness we only stayed one night.
