Nathan Mills at the front desk was always so friendly and helpful. When we needed new key cards, he knew just what to do. He is efficient and personable. He helped make our stay very pleasant. Lilian Dunivan was very friendly, and helped us when we had an issue. She took care of the issue and got things fixed for us. She was so professional. Destined Bertelson helped me with extending our reservation. She was helpful and efficient as well as friendly. Isabella, the breakfast attendant, kept the breakfast area clean and full of food. The breakfast offerings here were fantastic! We were here for 13 days. Our stay was so comfortable, and the breakfast food was terrific!

The room was very clean and smelled fresh. Upon leaving I saw a room attendant named Dolly, she was kind and asked me if I was checking out? I said, yes. She said thank you for choosing Fairfield inn & suites. I'm use to the front desk attendant saying things like that, but for a room attendant? I feel she was genuine in her comment.
The service at the front desk was challenging. I waited several times for an attendant when they were standing in front of me "doing paperwork". No acknowledgement of me standing there.

Location is the best you can ask for. It's close to the ferry, convention center, bars and restaurants!

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The lobby was festive with beautiful decorations for the holiday, and hot chocolate was served by the elevator. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was in an underground garage which made it easier to unload suitcases in the rainy weather.

Honestly a very disappointing experience.

Room smelled like must because the house cleaning barely do their job. You can see they barely wipe down the room for dust, they don’t air out the room, they make the bed and leave.

Fridge was broken on arrival and was promptly replaced which was great but the technician didn’t check to see if the interior was clean.

I left notes for house cleaning and the front desk four days in a row to get the fridge cleaned so I could eat lighter dinners but no one did so or ensured house cleaning did their job.

I will be telling my team to not utilize this location in the future, I would also recommend you try other locations if possible.

The Fairfield Hotel is a solid choice for a short stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, the staff was accommodating, and the breakfast was decent—nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. However, I have to address the so-called “pool.” To call it a pool is quite the stretch. It’s more like a glorified oversized tub—maybe 50 feet across at best—and it’s not even designed for a proper swim. It’s shallow, unimpressive, and more suited for dipping your feet than doing laps or relaxing.

If the pool was a major factor in your decision, like it was for me, you might end up disappointed. Otherwise, this is a perfectly serviceable hotel for its price point, just not the resort-like experience you might expect from the photos.

Small rooms but comfortable beds! I also liked their lounge area. The only downer was the parking lot was very tight and only 1 elevator was working, so very long wait times.

Great staff at this hotel, and a decent breakfast offering. But there are problems. First, the building has zero soundproofing. My upstairs neighbor for the night was an elephant, and their stomping shook my walls. Speaking of noise, people hotrod up and down Washington Ave all night, and the police do nothing. Extremely loud and incredibly close. The shower door didn’t close all the way. I gave up trying to keep the spray inside the shower stall and decided to just let housekeeping deal with the inevitable flood. Location is convenient to ferry and transit.
