I organized a business stay for 8 people at the Fairfield in Rancho Cordova. The staff was exceptional - Edana was so easy to work with and made our stay a breeze. The front desk and hospitality staff were also very accommodating. Rooms were clean with no complaints from my team. Breakfast was good, plenty of free parking, and the location was fantastic with easy highway access and plenty to eat nearby. Thanks to Edana and her team for a great business trip.

Rooms are average for this type of hotel.

Service was horrible.

First off, I booked a certain room type and wasn't given the room I booked. When I asked for a manager I contact me on this, nobody did. When I get less than I paid for, that's an issue.

Next, the cleaning service needs some work. The photo I included shows wrinkled sheets. I certainly hope that was a laundry issue and not someone else having been in the bed before me.

Location was good, lots of nearby restaurants and shopping, close to business.

If it wasn't for the service, this would have been a 4, and with good service a 5.

I'm not sure if anyone else is seeing patterns in Marriot property and service decline. Sadly I am.

Stay was satisfactory. Appreciates accommodating to simple request during reservation process. Property for the most part was clean and safe. Great location and stores/food very nearby. Staff were nice. Only con of stay, was body soap and conditioner were empty. By the time we found out it was late at night. Probably willing to stay again.

I had an amazing stay, absolutely love the breakfast all thanks to Darlene and her amazing services! The room was terrific as well, God Bless this whole staff and hotel. Will be coming back if ever in Sac again!

The staff is wonderfully helpful & friendly. The rooms are super nice!! Also, the breakfast bar is better than most. I was impressed by the alternative milk selection and the oatmeal toppings available. Highly recommended!

35 year Marriott members. This hotel was our go to. Hot tub was the best, not anymore! Concrete now fills the hot tub. No room housekeeping service! Still using Covid excuse! It's December of 2024, time to let go of the excuses and lack of housekeeping service. When I inquired about the housekeeping they stated every other day was the only option,, they stated that they were still using Covid guidelines. Funny they now advertise for tips in your room, for what? Running out of Kleenex, making our own bed, having to go to front desk for clean towels while our trashes overflow! Ridiculous!

Positive: Location to my event. Easy access to the freeway. Pleasant and very helpful staff. Negative: It?s a structural issue for myself and my wife. More power receptacles were needed than provided for CPAP machines.

Sad to see Marriott still using Covid as their excuse not to service the rooms. They filled in the hot tub with concrete, which was a nice feature. Tip sign in our room, for what? They don't want to service your room. Staying in Marriott locations are not what they used to be.
