This location was all right. The pool is outside on the side of the building with no access from inside the building. It was clean and cold. The hot tub was clean and hot. The breakfast was sufficient for almost all in our party. The lobby area/first floor was nice. The fitness area was cramped but adequate. The carpets in the upper floors need a good cleaning or something to help them not look so dingy. The room was fine. The beds had coil metal springs which were not comfortable for any of our party. Weird glossy stain on the ceiling in room 720? was strange. Warren should be commended for being professional and courteous when dealing with a combative person. He and his team member (Louis?) did their best to assist the person when they didn't have a reservation, ID, funds or any proof of who they were. Their actions were commendable

Great location. Stayed here for a night during our travels. We got in late and didn't have a chance to visit anything around the area. I was looking for alcohol and was told that a liquor store was next door and I saw Korean restaurants.

Front desk staff was nice. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is dated and can use an uplift or renovation but still, great water pressure, toilet flushed and the beds were clean.

Breakfast in the AM was also good. I'm happy they had nice HOT coffee.

Overall, I'd stay here again.

The room and location were fine. My experience went south when I went to use the water cup. I opened the plastic (the plastic had holes along the side, I’m assuming for easy opening?) and I noticed something in the cup. To my horror, it was a tooth. Thank God I saw it and didn’t drink it. I then tried to call the front desk and realized my phone wouldn’t dial out. So I went down to the front desk to report the issue (which then took a long time to get back to my room since one of the two elevators were out of service during my stay and a group of about 20 students had just checked in). The guy at the desk was shocked, apologized and said he would let the manager know and indicated I would most likely be compensated. When I checked out the next day, no acknowledgement of what happened so I asked. After the lady researched it, she said the manager would reach out to me on Saturday but no compensation for the stay, except maybe points. I was upset because teeth are a biohazard and that was an absolutely horrifying thing to discover and almost swallow. The manager finally emailed me on Monday and said she was researching my complaint and wanted to know if I had pictures. Umm, no but I brought the evidence to the front desk. I emailed her that night and haven’t heard back. Anyway, I definitely would not stay here again due to the way this situation has been handled (or rather not handled).

If I could give this a 0 star rating, I would!|||Backstory: ||My younger sister and I treated ourselves to a Disneyland Trip without our kiddos, which is rare. |We planned the trip 2 weeks in advance including our hotel overnight stay. |We understood that normal check in time was 3 pm, but given the fact we would be in the park until they closed and didn’t wish to leave and try to get through the parking process 2x we called and asked the day before our arrival date if they offered a late check in. ||To which, they said they did and would allow us all the way up until 1 am to check in provided that they leave notes on the reservation profile. |We thanked them and were so relieved. |We wouldn’t have to leave the park once we arrived. Easy peasy. ||Once at the park, we wanted to just confirm that all that was agreed upon before was so. |We called again to see. This was around 2pm. |Again, we were told that yes it was no problem. |The agent event said that he saw the notes about our late check in of 1 am. ||Park closing time. |Get to our car. |I said to my sister, “you know, let’s just call once more just to be sure they know we are still coming” ||She calls and was informed that they were unable to reach her and so they emailed to say that they overbooked and cancelled our reservation. |Sure enough - one single, lonely email explaining that, in fact, what she was told was true. |Of course, no manager is going to be around at that time and we were told the all the same. ||At this point, we are still in the Disneyland parking structure experiencing somewhat of a panic. |We traveled all of the way from Palm Springs, which is a little over 2 hours away.|It’s now 1:30 am, and we either have to drive home exhausted and risk our safety or come out of pocket, once again, to be able to find a room somewhere so we can sleep. |We did, fortunately, $226 later at a Motel 6. ||The next day (today) we paid a visit to the Marriot Fairfield so that we could speak to a manager and try to get this resolved because surely this was just an honest mistake. A monstrosity of one. But a mistake, nonetheless, and should be treated as such at least at first. ||We did.|We came truly to find a peaceful resolution. |Also, a full refund would also be nice seeing as that hasn’t happened yet. |We had hoped for someone who was eager to help fix this extremely mishandled situation - to bridge the mend. |But, instead, we experienced the most unprofessional, horrendous management behavior. ||She told us that because there was no phone number listed they couldn’t contact us to be sure we were coming. |Although we do believe we did list one, it could have been overlooked unintentionally. |However, 3 phone calls were had between the day before our arrival reservation date and the day OF. |At some point, after asking who the reservation was for (as all agents ask so they know whom they’re facilitating) why did not one staff member notice and ask for a good telephone number ? |I asked her all of the above mentioned, and her response was to continue to talk over both my sister and I, as well as invalidate my overall understanding and experience with them. ||I asked to speak to someone above her, because I knew I was getting nowhere with this manager. |Her lack of hospitality, empathy, compassion, care or concern for anything or anyone else was loud and clear. |She begrudgingly gave me a business card for someone in corporate, and since then, a voicemail has been left. |She refused and I mean was yelling “no” in refusal to me gaining her full name. |At one point she was physically trying to hide her name tag so I couldn’t read it. |She called me “combative,” which was so left field unprofessional and ridiculous. I’m truly a very nice person, but when you continually cut off your customer as they’re simply communicating a bad experience, and then talk over them so in turn, they have to talk louder - boom, you’re combative apparently. |At the end of it all, she told my sister that if it wasn’t for (her words, not mine) “combative friend” that she would have offered her 20,000 points. |Probably so she could later on file a report and say she offered to compensate for our pain and misery and all of that load of crap. |And if that isn’t bad enough, she raised her voice at the end to tell us that we needed to leave. |||Marriot, |Do better. ||Oh, and I did get her first name. |It’s Veronica

I'd like to preface this review by saying that I've stayed at this location multiple times. Every other time has been fine, the metal springs in the bed are mildly uncomfortable and the rooms have an odd mildew smell. My breaking point was our stay on February 1st. Me and my partner were staying on the 4th floor - room 403. Everything was fine until midnight, a man in room 405 was yelling obscenities and banging on our wall. We tried to ignore it and hoped it would stop. After a half hour, we decided to call the police. The next morning, we were approached about the incident and were offered 10,000 Marriott points for the inconvenience, which I thought was fair. Needless to say, those points never came. The customer service here is absolutely atrocious at best. I called the hotel multiple times to get the matter resolved. I finally got in contact with Veronica, the assistant manager. She seemed very empathetic and assured me that she would handle the 10,000 points and to wait 3 business days for them to materialize on my account. Needless to say, the points never came. I called again and days later I received 5,000 points in my account, which honestly felt like a slap in the face. Do better. No guest should have to beg for points that were already offered. BEWARE of the customer service you'll get here.

I stayed for 3 nights in Dec 2024. The lady at check-in upgraded me to a King Suite and gave me a free cookie. She was so nice!

The room was huge and had too many sinks and bathrooms for a single person, but I survived. I liked the bed, the shower water pressure, and the free breakfast! I didn't have the chance to try the pool or fitness center.

There was a funky odor that diffused out of the sink whenever I used it. Bothersome? A little. It always dissipated after a few minutes though.

Booked a wheelchair accessible standard King room. I was "upgraded" to a wheelchair accessible King suite since the standard room didn't have wheelchair accessible bathroom... I was so disappointed when I saw that the bathroom had a tub instead of a roll-in shower. Asked for a shower chair & was told the chairs they have don't fit in the tub... I guess they believe people in wheelchairs don't deserve to take a shower. The room didn't have an automatic door so it was extremely difficult to enter/exit the room independently. So able-bodied people it's a decent hotel. However, I would not recommend the hotel to any one who uses a wheelchair. It seems like there are so many ADA violations. Won't be staying here again.
