I had the pleasure of staying at the new Evo Hotel in Tahoe City on opening night, and it was an incredible experience! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of town and just across the street from the lake. Being able to walk to all the great shops, restaurants, and bars made the stay even better.

The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure every guest felt at home. One of the highlights is the new bar that’s part of Evo—not only is the atmosphere great, but the views from the bar are absolutely stunning. Whether you’re enjoying a drink inside or out on the patio, you’re treated to one of the best lake views in Tahoe City.

If you’re looking for a perfectly located, beautifully designed hotel with a great vibe, Evo Tahoe is the place to stay. Can’t wait to come back!

The hotel was clean, everything was new and the furniture was nice and comfortable. What I enjoyed the most was the staff. They were warm, welcoming, accommodating and always answered the phone/my questions. My daughters left items in the room and we were able to get them back with no issue. But the real amazing part is that I left my engagement ring and didn’t realize until I was on the road! I called, they had it and gave me instructions on how it can be sent back to me. They answered every email and phone call I had about it and I am so impressed by that. Oh, even the staff at the restaurant they have was nice. Overall it was an amazing experience!

I stayed here with friends for a one night stay. The room was very clean and cozy. We came here to ski and loved the ski stands in the room as well as the hardwood floors. We were disapointed to find out that neither the room or the lobby had a microwave. We had a late evening and restaurants were closed when we were going to eat and wanted to heat up some food for the night but were largely unable, aside from the adjacent restaurant allowing us to use their microwave. The price per night was pricey for the accommodations provided and lack of complementary breakfast.

Growing up in Seattle, I was so excited to stay at an Evo hotel! Did not disappoint. The rooms are heavily designed for skiing and if you are traveling with your pets - very dog friendly. 5 stars!

Rooms were so clean and filled with little touches that added to the ambience of the hotel. Service was great as was the Sierra Surf Club! Once they start serving food and the sauna and cold plunge open up the hotel will be in its prime!

We stayed here two nights spring break Wednesday and Thursday. I would like to start by saying how misleading the hotel is. When I booked off an early rate they said it would be complimentary breakfast. Even a patron who came in after asked the same thing stating he booked the same rate with that guarantee. As well as other amenities being open such as the sauna. The check in staff looked at me as if I and this patron were lying. They also had nothing to accomadate for the fact the property was still unfinished with amenities like the restaurant and sauna not being open. Yet charging 150 a night for an unfinished product. They say they are building a new property but they just renovated a preexisting location. The work done is unfinished and poor. The walls are extremely thin and the front door has a gap at the bottom of about an inch and a half. So with this, the noise of people banging around the hallway kept us up. The doors are thin and the latches feel old even though the building is being remodeled. The back door with the porch doesn’t lock unless you actually latch it. Even if you close and lock the door it doesn’t work. So if someone forgets to use the latch you’re an easy target to be robbed. Another annoying part is it not having a microwave in the room or hotel itself. You have to walk across the street and ask the coffee shop guy at bar to take it in the back and heat it for you…. Also the free coffee was luke warmThey say they offer all the streaming apps on the tv but it’s only YouTube and peacock. So anyone using prime Netflix paramount the main ones you’re out of luck. The WiFi doesn’t work for large devices like tablet laptop or gaming consoles like switch. Again the construction feels cheap and rushed to be put together. What was promised but not delivered should of guaranteed some accommodation. We were excited because it looked new and that it catered to adventurous who like to travel snowboard hike mountain bike. There’s a sister property in salt lake we want to try, but not worth the risk after this. For the price I would 100 percent try another location this is just a cheap motel basically.

Stayed here last weekend, nice spot! Rooms were clean and spacious. They also have two fire places with couches/seating. They have free coffee in the morning, and they sell pastries (quite good!). Overall no complaints, would stay here again

Convenient location - walking distance to the beach, restaurants and close to the ski resorts. Clean room. Minimalist design. only thing is the soundproof is not great. Overall good stay
