This place is amazing! The historical home feels so warm and welcoming, with gorgeous decor, the whole atmosphere was like going home after a long time away. Breakfast was excellent home made, like going to Grandma's house. The hosts were exceptionally wonderful, an experience you could never get at a hotel or Airbnb. I had never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before but will always look for them when traveling in the future. 💯% wanna go back.

When we arrived they brought in our luggage for us and showed us to our room on the second floor, front of the house. The room had a queensize bed and a sofa and chair. The shower was fantastic with the amount of water pressure. |The couple running Estillville provided us with a very hardy breakfast so we skipped lunch. |The house was probably built shortly before 1900 and is filled with antiques. |All that we need was provided.

My husband and I “eloped “ to this lovely house in Gate City, VA. Mark and Cameron were the perfect hosts and saw to coordinating my requests concerning the small ceremony. My two sons and their families attended and there was cake for all. Mark should be a chef along with their son Calvin as the breakfasts were wonderful and he prepared a special meal for our wedding dinner. Steve and I look forward to more visits with the Jenkins.

Cameron and Mark (and Calvin) are wonderful people and we are so glad we stayed at their B&B! Breakfast was fantastic. Cameron even brought coffee to our room for us to enjoy before breakfast was served. How very nice! The B&B has a nice vibe and is decorated with antiques and interesting items. Room was very clean and maintained well. The other guests were very nice and we all engaged in interesting conversations. Would definitely recommend others to say here. We hope to revisit in the future.

Only downfall (hence the 4 stars) was the look of the neighborhood. Bingo hall across the street took up a lot of parking spaces during the bingo night. Some homes under renovation or in disrepair. It didn’t negate the enjoyment of our stay though.

I don’t normally do reviews of anything, but Estillville Bed & Breakfast deserves a 5 star review. Very comfortable and welcoming, and a good value. Both Mark and Cameron were there to greet us when we arrived. Our room was large and comfortable. Mark prepared a tasty breakfast and we enjoyed the conversation with both Mark (Cameron was at work) and guests. Gate City was quiet when we arrived Sunday afternoon, but we did find a good Mexican restaurant within walking distance. If our travels take us to the area again, we will definitely be repeat customers.

This B&B is very clean, conveniently located, and relaxing. We celebrated our anniversary here, and would definitely come back. The hosts, Cameron & Mark were very accommodating when we had to change our travel dates due to sickness. The lodge is a charming old house, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

Top notch B&B. Cameron and Mark make you feel at home even before you arrive. The house was spotless and the breakfast and hospitality were above and beyond. Will definitely stay again next time in the area.

cameron, mark and calvin were excellent hosts. they are very friendly and gave us great recommendations, we ended up going to two of them: devils bathtub and carter family fold and we had a blast! regarding the b and b: beds were comfy,everything was very clean (my number one priority when it comes to overnight stays), and the breakfast was home cooked and delicious. two things to be aware of: 1. the neighborhood isnt the best. not the worst but definitely developing. 2. the bathroom door to one of the rooms only opens from the outside so if you are there alone you might get locked in for a few minutes while struggling with the lock...which is exactly what happened with my brother. small issues aside, our stay was so fun and cozy...I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Cameron, Mark and Calvin!!
