Stayed at this hotel for the 2nd time and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown compared to the first visit.
The first stay was truly impressive - the room was modern and furniture was new. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained.
The 2nd stay felt like walked into a completely different hotel. The room decor looked old, furniture was in poor shape and worn out. The shower head was not working properly and the bathroom door had a large hole!
We later found out that the hotel is currently undergoing renovations. It is quite disappointing that guests are still being placed in unrenovated rooms at full price. At the very least, guests should be informed at check in and assigned updated rooms as possible.
Aside from the room issue, I want to acknowledge some positive. The hotel is kept very clean and the free hot breakfast is absolutely delicious.
I would still recommend this hotel but probably won’t return until after renovation is complete.

The was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The service was immaculate. The staff was some of the nicest and most respectful people I have ever came in contact with. The rooms was super clean super nice and up to date,and the view was amazing. And the food was 5 star 💫💫💫 this has been one of the best stays and time I have ever had at and hotel. Gorgeous Hotel! And great location! We were getting discouraged by Hilton Hotels (mostly Hampton Inns) as we travel a ton. This hotel brought the grand back for us in the Hilton Chain. Rooms completely updated, (not just a few items like many) fitness is incredible, breakfast is hot, coffee is exceptional. Employees eagerly helpful! This Embassy Suites in Hoover, AL is everything all Hiltons used to be and should strive to be. And they take your small pups! We will definitely be back.

We stopped in Birmingham as a half way point on our way to Kentucky. As a Hilton Honors members I was greeted immediately! Great place. The Conference Center was under remodel, and it was away from the rooms and no noise was apparent. We were put in a high floor away from elevators and ice machines. Wonderful, helpful staff and Great evening happy hour. Our room was fantastic! Comfortable bed, great couch, well stocked coffee bar. Overall, a great place with a great price!

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ this hotel is very aged. Worn-out beds, old furnishings, smelly couches. It's in the middle of a remodel but only the top floors. My advice is if you're looking for a semi comfortable room insist on floors above the 4th and look before you rent. Also, construction is ongoing during the day so don't expect to sleep in.
Talked with management and was told nothing could be done until a remodeled room if one becomes available.

I would give the rooms, which are essentially apartments, five stars. They are very clean and spacious, and the beds are comfortable. They are also cleaned every day.

Happy hour is great. You get everything free at the bar between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

I definitely deduct points for breakfast: It's the same every day. No sliced fruit or yogurt. Just eggs, sausage, and greasy bacon. You can have an omelet made, but that's just eggs. They also serve sweetened cornflakes.

The biggest negative for me is that they allow dogs. The elevator smells of dog, and there are puddles of drool on the floor. In the lobby, there are dog hairs on the floor and on the armchairs.
When we were there, there were a lot of dogs.

For this reason, I won't be visiting this hotel again.

The male housekeeper I had this morning was excellent. I did not get his name but he went beyond the call of duty. He was African American slim build and wonderful smile he had on a black baseball cap I do remember. He would not take my tip !!! Best hotel experience ever !

The rooms were pleasant, spacious, and well-maintained. Although I did not utilize the pool or breakfast services, my overall stay was enjoyable.
