I have stayed at Elleries 5 times. Ellerie is the attentive grandmother who wants nothing but the best for her guests. The 4th time I strayed with her I was specific about what I needed and all was perfect. The accomodations are top rate. The rooms romantic and well designed. Ive stayed in hundreds of owner occupied facilities and I consider this one of my best expereinces.

This lady is very disrespectful, if you would like a taste of privacy invasion, attitude, theft and racial discrimination this is the place for you! If not i wouldn't bother booking her cabins.

This property has three charming cottages that are perfect for families and large groups. It is located just 5 miles from Darrington, Washington where there are festival grounds, hiking and river rafting activities available. The cottages are right on the river and this was perfect for the 4 families that were attending a wedding in Darrington at the Ashe and Alder venue. We stayed in the cottages 3 day/night while preparing for and attending the wedding. ||The cottages are quaint, clean and comfortable and it gives the feeling very much like visiting grandma's house. Ellerie provides everything you need for breakfast along with all the necessary item to cook it. Ellerie, is a gracious and thoughtful hostess and you will feel like you have made a new friend when you stay there.|

The very best thing about Ellerie'eRiver Cottages is Ellerie! What a lovely woman, full of life and energy! She played crochet with my family one night and we had a blast. ||My family is from Texas and Indiana and we all traveled to washington and rented the whole place for a wedding of a relative who lives in Darrington. Ellerie'eRiver Cottages are only 5 miles from Darrington and soooo convenient to the Festival grounds too. ||It was cute, eclectic, and I cannot wait to go back one day. ||My name is sue gregory and i am from Texas. If you want a personal note on the place email me at sweetnoodlemagoo at gmail. ||

My husband and I stayed two nights in the cottage with our dog Atticus. We became friends with Ellerie and peanut. We will forever be in touch with her. We left with hugs, and our hearts full. Her place is a sanctuary and it has changed our lives.

I see the term already used in other comments, but really, Ellerie's cottages are really a hidden gem! Definitely worth while to stay there even if just passing through on the way to North Cascades from Seattle. Ellerie is the most lovely B&B host and has put together such beautiful cottages and it was such a peaceful and cozy place.

We had a wonderful stay here! We decided to bike Darrington last minute. The owner, Ellerie, went out of her way to make room for us! The location is perfect, just 15 minutes to downtown Darrington, and 20 minutes to Darrington MTB area. The space was extremely comfortable (we stayed in the Bunkhouse) with comfortable beds. The space was well thought out, with lots of great personal touches. Ellerie provided a nice breakfast and good quality coffee. She also went out of her way to to meet us nearby to make sure we didn't get lost finding her place. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks for being such a great host Ellerie!!

We were very communicative about our plans days in advance as we were hiking through the cascades. Upon getting service in town we had been left multiple ornery and very erratic voicemails. She cancelled a few hours before we were to to arrive, forcing us to drive hours out of the mountains and find a hotel last minute.
