I used to frequent this place a lot. Lunch was always busy and a great environment, quickly made-delicious food. Now, not so much. A take out order almost took an hour to get in my hands. Took the bartender nearly ten minutes to take my order. This place is slowly falling off and I hope they can do something to get it back up again. Will be going to the bar/restaurants across the street from here on.

I used to really enjoy coming here. The service is very inconsistent now. The food is okay and extremely overpriced for what you actually get. If you have a few hours to spare for a lunch or dinner, then this place might be for you. Everything takes so long.

I ordered their spaghetti and meatballs to go. It was good. But nothing special for it to cost over $20. I guess my expectation was too high 😕

I was very disappointed with the service and food. They were very slow and didn’t take our order until at least 15 minutes after we sat down. I would have been okay with that except the food was bland and not tasty at all. The tri tip was dry and there were very few pieces of pecans in the salad. Pizza dough was not bad but it barely had any sauce or cheese. I would not go there again.

We would've never found this place if we didn't have the local coupon book, but we are so glad we did!! The meatballs & marinara were definitely homemade, and the food over all was very nice. The show to watch while sitting in the covered patio area..Non stop entertainment if you like planes! 😉 You can watch them come and go and gas up, better than staring at strangers in a stuffy place! We look forward to coming back to try all the delicious sounding salads they offer on the menu, good stuff!

Our recent dining experience at Ella's at the Airport, nestled within the terminal building of Watsonville Airport, was truly delightful. The restaurant boasts a spacious interior, but we opted to savor our meal in the enclosed airy patio, granting us the unique pleasure of watching helicopters and planes gracefully touch down nearby, providing an exceptional view.
Our culinary journey began with the tantalizing "Wings Over Watsonville." This appetizer comprised a generous pound of all-natural chicken wings, masterfully dry-rubbed with a medley of spices, including the fragrant notes of cumin. A tarragon ranch sauce accompanied this dish, elevating its flavors to perfection. It was a delectable start to our meal.

For the main course, I totally enjoyed the "Castroville Chicken." This dish featured a succulent, free-range chicken prepared in a delightful lemon piccata style. It was served alongside roasted artichokes, creamy leeks, and toasted almonds, complemented by a sumptuous bed of creamy polenta and organic vegetables. The harmonious blend of flavors left a lasting impression. It was a generous portion so we took it home and enjoyed the second half of this dish.

My husband opted for the grilled salmon, which he also enjoyed very much. It was served with the same delectable polenta and organic vegetables. The combination of perfectly grilled salmon and the sides made for a memorable dish.

To cap off our remarkable dining experience, we indulged in a bunch of their chocolate chip cookies, which we took with us to enjoy on the drive home and later. They were a delightful treat that added a sweet note to our evening.

Ella's at the Airport offers an extensive and diverse menu with an array of intriguing dishes we look forward to trying on future visits. Their commitment to using organic and sustainable ingredients, coupled with the fact that they don't even have a freezer on site, underscores the quality of every dish they serve.

Meeting the gracious owner-operator, Chielo Apac, was a pleasure, and her staff exuded warmth and professionalism throughout our visit. Ella's at the Airport provides a wonderful outing option for friends and family alike, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. It's a culinary gem worth experiencing. Highly recommended.

Cute place but food was underwhelming. Panini was good, but I was disappointed that the slaw it came with was so small, it was in a condiment dish, and didn't even taste good, was just green and flavorless.i should have gotten the potato chips instead of the "slaw" because $5 extra for fries on top of an $18 panini is nuts. Sadly won't be back after that. Service was nothing special.
