Ripped us off after estimating $3,000 in repair were approved and then charges us $6800 at pick up once the trailer was “ready”.

The work wasn’t even done correctly and will have to be re-done.

Took advantage of a broken down leased trailer and saw a payday. Stay far away.

Terrible! Overpriced! Will Overcharge!!!! This place uses 19th century payment options!!! Without any other options, they keep your truck hostage until you pay with EFS only!!!! Owner lady is unresponsive, unreliable, unreachable!!! Only good person in that company is receptionist Denise. top class lady!!! All other stuff, owner just working there to overcharge clients in need!!! Trust me, just AVOID!!!!

DO NOT under any circumstances call this facility for repairs or a tow. They charged $1000 for a simple 1 hour repair. The local mechanic told them exactly what to do from start to finish but they deliberately jacked up the bill and held my truck hostage until we paid the bill. They need turned into the BBB

They charged me triple what they should have. Over $2000. They said a job took 9 hours and every other mechanic (large or small) I talked to says it was a 2-3 hour job max. This was the second time they had it after I paid then $1500, got it back and it did not make it more than 150 miles before broke down again. Plus when I got fed up and had towed back to Clarksburg new mechanic found they had put wrong starter on RV. Plus new mechanic found the fuel filter they put on was degenerated into nothing. The cause? Over 20 gallons of water was found in my gas tank. The gas lines, fuel tank, carberator, EVERYTHING had to be drained and dried out. Now not saying they did it but it occured while it was in their possession.

I had unloaded in Clarksburg,WV and was headed back to Louisiana when I decided to stop in Weston At a Marathon convenience store and walk over to Burger King and grab a quick bite to eat and since the store technically didn’t have truck parking,I figured there wouldn’t be a problem. Boy was I wrong. I killed my truck and when I got back it wouldn’t crank!! I’m a owner operator leased to a large chemical tanker company so I normally deal with my truck breakdowns myself, but the last time I did, the jackass mechanic in West Memphis, AR stole my credit card info and racked up credit card charges from Florida to Arkansas. So I called my carrier and the breakdown service sent Elkins Truck Service out. The mechanic,I think his name was Michael, came out and determined I needed a starter. So he went back to their shop and got one and came back and replaced it. During the replacement he got one of the wires backwards and since there’s about 10 I could easily see where that could happen. Well he worked like crazy, kinda mad at himself for doing it, to trace the wire and get it fixed. I told him don’t worry about it, and he was only human. He found it and swapped it around on the starter and I was on my way. I told him the starter he replaced was about 15 years old, so I got my money’s worth out of it. I was very satisfied with Michaels’ service and professionalism and I’d definitely recommend them to other drivers. I’ve been on both sides, the one paying the bill and the one making out the bill, and trucks, equipment, tools, and technicians all cost money. It’s human nature, when people are giving a service they expect top dollar but when they are getting a service they want it for nothing. But like the old saying goes “good work ain’t cheap, and cheap work ain’t good!!! “
