Me and my friend were traveling back from Santa Barbara when we suddenly got a craving for a simple bean and cheese burrito. The lady at the front was very kind but MAN were our burritos the worst we have ever had. The chips (which you have to pay extra for) tasted like saw dust and cardboard. The beans had a strange gritty taste and the cheese was that typical shredded Mexican blend you see at your average grocery store. Who puts Whole beans inside of a bean and cheese burrito. We were expecting there to be a cook making our food but right after the 16 year old was done taking our order she headed over to slop together our burritos, to then throw it in a comically large hot bag that said BBQ on it. After we tried to eat these, we were worried we might contract a virus. We still can’t get the taste out of our mouths. Unfortunately we don’t have much water in the car so we’re stuck like this. Wish us luck.

My wife and I came here for lunch and the place was empty. Order 3 tacos that came with rice and refried beans, tacos ok but the rice and the refried beans horrible no taste at all. I had a tortas it was ok, I had better. It looks like a steak sandwich instead of an asada that's usually cut up. Meat no seasoning tastes bland, the only three great things were the lime, soda and green salsa. Expensive also for those two items and drink over $30.

El Toro was excellent! I ordered a custom nacho salad - half the chips and add a bed of lettuce. It was better than every taco salad I've ever had.
It is in a brand new little shopping plaza with easy parking.

The Amtrak stopped in kings city for a food break and it was so nice to see a good healthy option right across the street. They were super fast and the food was delicious. Friendly staff also. Definitely recommend, it's my new go to food option for this route.

Very good food, fresh ingredients and homemade. The owner was so nice to us, he made a breakfast burrito just the way we wanted it. Great place to stop for food.

This place was hot like an oven inside. There are 2 outside tables to sit if you don't want to sit inside. The service was good. But the burrito with asada meat was awful! All fat and gristle in every single bite. Yuk!! If you get a bean and cheese, then you're probably safe.
