This hotel deserves the very good ratings!! Our first time staying here at the recommendation from a friend. Nice, clean, well cared for property. Beautiful courtyard area. Comfy bed & bedding. Nice updates. Rustic charm. Super helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast, much better than most hotels. Reasonable price. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed four nights visiting family and this was an excellent choice. This is an older, motel style place of about 50 rooms but well maintained. The rooms were good sized and very clean. Our room had a great king size bed, two full size chairs, and a couch that was a sleeper sofa if needed. All were very comfortable. The grounds are well maintained with an abundance of flowers which make it feel much nicer that many places of this type. Breakfast is included which consisted of pastries, cereal, a quiche and fruit. These were all of a good quality plus the coffee was excellent. Location is close to the main square but not too close to avoid the noise and crowds. One Hint. I did not notice if there was an elevator to the second floor so if you have an issue with stairs check with the hotel or request a room on ground level.|All in all a great choice and will be our place to stay next time we visit.

We LOVED this place. Great 4th generation Mom & Pop motel. Incredibly clean, pride of ownership shows! Great hot tub, linens & a nice free breakfast to get u going. Couple of blocks from Sonoma square. Affordable. Book the rooms facing the courtyard - it’s an Oasis with an awesome fountain! ✔️out pict of my map of rooms.

Travelled with another couple for 1 night. Beautiful garden and pool. Loved the atmosphere of the place. Nice rooms but honestly spent most of my time in the pool area. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Travelled into downtown Sonoma for supper at Murphys Pub. Good food and live music.

Wonderful! Beyond expectations! The rooms are so cute, and I say rooms because we needed to stay an extra day due to the hurricane and they immediately accommodated us. Both rooms were so cute and homey. Our first room was a suite and the second one was different but had a seating area and a balcony that overlooked the courtyard which has a water feature and lush gardens. They thought of everything for your comfort. I highly recommend this hotel!! Thank you El Pueblo!

This Inn turned out to be much better than expected. I say this because in some of the pictures of the outside it looks very plain. However, don't let that deter you from staying here. The rooms are updated, roomy and very comfortable. The bathroom is also a good size. Even tough it is near a busy corner, the rooms are very quiet. I am a light sleeper and I did not hear any noise at night Rooms have a balcony or terrace facing a cozy and very well maintained garden in the middle of the building. Although we did not go in the pool, we sat by the pool at night to enjoy some of end of the day relaxation. Breakfast was very good with good choices. You won't go hungry. You can sit inside to eat your breakfast, or if the weather is good, you can take you breakfast to one of the several outdoor tables. Staff at the lobby was pleasant and helpful with several suggestions for visiting wineries and restaurants in town. The town of Sonoma is about a mile away. You can walk it if the weather is good and you are up to the walk. We chose to drive since we were tired. The drive was quick and there was plenty of parking in the central plaza. The town of Sonoma is small and quaint. I definitely would stay here again.

Our first time there. It was well maintained and very clean. Continental breakfast had a good assortment of pastries and protein options. We thought there was an old vintage vibe with a lot of charm. The employees were welcoming and helpful.

I loved this hotel. We stayed here for two nights after being in Yosemite and Sequoia. I was so impressed with the beautiful courtyard garden and pool area. The rooms are immaculate! Beds are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is lovely, with offerings of fresh fruit, granola, quiche, rolls and more. The people at the front desk are very professional and were very helpful. After we left the hotel for San Francisco International Airport, my husband realized that he had left his hat in the room. Rosario at the front desk took care of the matter for us and arranged to take it to UPS in Sonoma and have it delivered to us in Minneapolis. Such service! Thank you.
