This place was recommended to me, and now I highly recommend it as well!

The mushroom salad was good with the earthy taste of the mushrooms shining through.

The standout dish was undoubtedly the seafood paella – hands down the best I've had outside of Spain!

The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the rice was infused with a rich, savory flavor that left me wanting more.

Just had to dessert. The chocolate tart was delicious – decadent, rich, and perfectly balanced with some pecan nuts, and caramelized citrus fruit on top. Not too sweet, just pure chocolate bliss!

The service was top-notch, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our server made excellent recommendations

We had a very late lunch and arrived just before the kitchen was about to close in preparation for dinner service. It couldn’t have been better. We ordered shrimp ceviche, a chopped salad, mussels, steak and frites, and crispy shrimp tacos. It was a lot of food, and everything tasted delicious.

The mussels were definitely my favorite; they had a rich broth and were perfectly cooked. The service was very attentive, which we greatly appreciated.

We had the best experience there at El Dorado kitchen! Service was excellent and the food was delicious. I was there celebrating a good friend’s recent engagement. The restaurant saved us a private lunch area and created a mini menu. I had the chicken and my boyfriend had the short ribs, so good! Definitely recommend to anyone looking ti make a group reservation!

Food was excellent. I can recommend the corn risotto (needed to add salt and pepper for a boost) and spinach ravioli. The vegan plate was also good. The seared scallops had been billed as the stand out dish and was somewhat disappointing as it didn’t compare to scallops on cape cod.

El Dorado continues to be our favorite in Sonoma. The outdoor patio is lovely. The staff are super friendly and professional. And we love the food!
I think the Paella is one of the best anywhere - nice pieces of salmon, mixed with mussels, sausage, squid and a delicious saffron rice. The appetizer of crispy Brussels Sprouts is also exceptional- you should try it.
In summary, highly recommended!

Amazing food, great service and outstanding menu. We love all the dishes we ordered but…
The mussels were uniquely prepared and the added serrano pepper slices gave it an unexpected kick.
The paella was loaded with seafood cook to perfection and the rice has a beautiful and crunchy crust.
The pasta, fresh salad and chicken sandwich weren’t as surprising next to the mussels and the paella. Overall a great birthday lunch

This place never dissapoints. Beautiful food that is consistanly delicious. Tonight we had the ribeye steak- cooked with a wood oven perfection! This was served with mixed vegetables in a yam puree that was so rich and creamy. The dungeness crab salad was so refreshing, instead of dressing, the mixed greens, grapefruit and oranges were served on a fresh puree of orange and grapefruit- wow! And the coffee orange dessert drink was perfect. Nice. We'll be back

Overall a great place to have a nice dinner. The portions were pretty big, so the prices were actually pretty reasonable overall. The octopus was amazing, and so was the short rib! Also enjoyed the brussel sprouts and mussels. The blue cheese olive vodka martini was also killer.
